Crystal Hefner signed a strict prenuptial agreement. He died at the age of 91 at his LA home from natural causes. He left USD 5 million in the name of Crystal and a lavish home in the Hollywood Hills which had five bedrooms and an outdoor infinity pool with a modern kitchen. It also has a screening room and games room with a poker and table and pool.
Hugh Hefner's fortune was split between his four children from his previous two marriages. He was first married to Mildred Williams and they have a daughter aged 64 named Christie anda a son, David, who is 52 years old.
Hugh got married to Mildred in 1949 but they parted ways after nine years. His first wife admitted that she had cheated on him while he was serving in the army, and it was the big blow in their marraige. He stayed bachelor for almost three decades before settling down with Kimberley Conrad. The had two sons anmed Marston and Cooper. The couple got divorced after 11 years.
Crystal Hefner clearly stated that she regretted marrying Hugh Hefner. She claimed that she regretted marrying one of the most famous men in the world and thinking that she made it, but in reality she made herself look smaller for his world to look bigger. She said:
"But yes, I regret it. I regret being in my mid-20s and thinking that marrying one of the most famous men in the world meant that I had finally made it, that I finally mattered or had value. I regret the years I spent making myself smaller so his world could feel bigger."
Crystal regretted that she learnt to stay quiet when she should have spoken out. She abandoned herself to survive in the enviornment and it took her years to understand what was actually happening to her. She revealed that people never wanted her to express her emotions and forever remain the grateful young wife and the lucky girl.
Hugh revealed that she is done living in the version of the story and explained that she regretted the marriage. She added that accepting it has been the most honest thing she has done for herself. Crystal had authored the memoir Only Say Good Things: Suriving Playboy and Finding Myself.
During an interaction on the podcast, No One Asked Her with Billy Ray Cyrus's ex-wife, Firerose, Crystal revealed that she was brainwashed, but there was nothing that validated her. So, she just thought that she was crazy, as all the media kept putting Hugh on a pedestal. She said:
"I think I was absolutely brainwashed, but there was nothing out there that validated me. So, I just thought I was the crazy one because all of the media put Hef on such a pedestal that I'm like, 'OK, if they all see him as this larger-than-life amazing human, there must be something wrong with me."
Crystal talked about living in Playboy Mansion and stated that she was under the watch of 70 employees. She would keep him in this dilapidated, gross home and wasn't allowed to see her family.
