Getting intimate with Hugh Hefner was an absolute nightmare for his playboy bunny, Holly Madison. Years after the business mogul died in 2017, Holly recalled her experience with him during her appearance on the Girls Next Level podcast. Holly and her Girls Next Door costar Bridget Marquardt shared the same opinion that, to them, getting intimate with Hugh was a chore and they wanted to get through it quickly.
Holly Madison revealed that she was extremely uncomfortable with getting unclothed and engaging in physical intimacy with Hugh in front of all the other castmates. The entire "routine" was super "embarrassing" to Holly, who at that time was a young lady in her 20s. She made similar statements during her interview with The New York Times, and even claimed that Hugh wasn't particularly good in bed.
As per Holly, the Playboy owner would lie down like a "log", and she had to carry out the sexual "routine" with him. She further claimed that all the Playboy bunnies hate each other, which made it all the more difficult to indulge in intimacy and get vulnerable in front of them. Her exact words were:
"He wouldn't move. He would be like a bump on the log in the middle of the bed. I can't explain to you guys how embarrassing that whole routine was. Especially as we got later down the road, when there would be, like, a lot of conflict with the other girls... You're literally sitting there naked having sex in front of a group of people who hate you and talk shit about you while you're having sex, and you can hear it. It was just, like, hell."
During her SiriusXM's In Your Dreams appearance, Holly said that having one-on-one sex with Hugh was "more normal than you'd think", but she absolutely "hated" the "disgusting" group intimacy nights. She further stated that at the time she stayed away from social media because posting anything would result in hundreds of hate comments from netizens. Overall, she had a tough time, but it was the kind of life she chose for herself.
Hugh Hefner's 60-years-younger playboy bunny Kendra Wilkinson was also another of his girlfriends who shared her experience of getting intimate with him. Kendra stated that when she entered the Playboy Mansion and joined Girls Next Door, she was a fresh high school graduate and just wanted to party and experience the glam life. She shared that she hadn't realised intimacy would also be part of the arrangement.
Although a little taken aback at first, she eventually got into a physical relationship with Hugh a few weeks after moving in with him. On the Skinny Confidential podcast, she said that a simple word like 'dating' couldn't describe their relationship, as it was one of deep friendship. As per Kendra, although their union was primarily for sexual purposes, it was a "heavenly experience" for her.
