'How I Met Your Mother' actor, Nick Pasqual, was found guilty after two years of him stabbing his ex for more than 20 times, after he broke into her home. Here's what exactly happened!
A background actor of How I Met Your Mother, Nick Pasqual, made it to the headlines back in 2024 for all the negative reasons. He was seen in a season 7 episode of How I Met Your Mother back in 2011. Well, it was on May 8, 2026, when he was convicted of all the charges he faced, related to an alleged attack back in 2024. Reportedly, in 2024, Nick Pasqual broke into his ex and makeup artist, Allie Shehorn's home, and stabbed her repeatedly.
A jury trial took place on May 8, 2026. According to the court documents, reviewed by The LA Times, he was convicted of injuring a spouse or partner, first-degree burglary and rape. If the reports by the publication are to be believed, Nick Pasqual will be sentenced on June 2, 2026, and he could face lifetime imprisonment.
To mention, Nick Pasqual's ex-girlfriend is Allie Shehorn, a Hollywood makeup artist who worked in Babylon and Mean Girls. Nick Pasqual broke into Allie's home back in May 2024, at 4:30 AM, and stabbed her several times. This incident happened 20 days after Allie filed a restraining order against Nick. There have been reports that Nick hit his ex with a belt, broke doors inside her home and raped and choked her in 2024. Well, following this, Nick broke into her house and stabbed her. Following this, he fled the scene and was detained at a border checkpoint in Texas between the United States and Mexico.
Back in 2024, speaking about the effects of the repeated stabbing from Nick, Allie said that she suffered temporary vision loss and couldn't get back the full feeling in her hands, due to the stabbing. She reportedly was left with visible, massive scars on her body, especially on her throat.
If the reports are to be believed, she required breathing tubes and feeding tubes, and eventually got better in the hospital. This was indeed a heinous kind of domestic violence; however, Nick Pasqual's ex, Allie, didn't back off from fighting her battle. In 2024, she told the Daily Mail that she would appear in each court hearing to show him that she's still there. She said:
"I just hope that there's justice served. People should know that this shouldn't happen and he can't get away with it...I'll be at every court hearing, even if I don't have to be, just to show him that I'm still here. Every day is different, and it's a struggle, and just dealing with the permanent damage is really hard. I can't go back completely to how I was."
After the stabbing incident, Allie was left fighting for her life. A GoFundMe page was created for Allie. It was her roommate, Christine White, who revealed that after the stabbing, Allie was left bleeding out inside the home. She was found by her roommate in that state, and according to her, this should never happen to anybody. As per Allie, the day this incident happened, she just locked her doors; however, Nick was reportedly punching holes in the door, leading it to break open. Allie tried to hide in the bathroom. However, Nick ended up stabbing her more than 10 times, which left her with massive scars.
Apart from being seen in How I Met Your Mother, Nick Pasqual was seen in 44 episodes of the web sketch comedy show National Day Riff. He also had small appearances in Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire, Steve Jobs biopic, Jobs; and the dystopian drama, The Road.
