Earlier, in June 2026, he attended the comedy show of BB 19 fame, Pranit More. Ever since, the clip of Himanshu's remark surfaced online, he has been under public scrutiny. He also lost his job in Gurugram for the following. Now, a new video has surfaced online where Himanshu is seen laughing at his own Rs. 370 Biryani joke.
Recently, a video has surfaced online showing Himanshu Jangra. However, the shocking part of the clip was that the Haryana resident was reportedly seen laughing at his own joke about Rs. 370 Biryani at the Gurugram Police Station. An FIR has been registered against Himanshu, and he is allegedly facing legal action under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the IT Act for obscenity and outraging the modesty of a woman, following a formal complaint by the National Commission for Women (NCW). He seemed to have no remorse for his actions.
Soon after the new video showing Himanshu Jangra surfaced online, netizens slammed Himanshu Jangra. A few days back, a report claimed that Himanshu was facing depression. Social media users have questioned that as well. A user wrote, "People were like woh depression me hai itna troll mat karo kahi woh suicide na kar le." Another user commented, "Ye sudharne wale me se nahi hai." A third user penned, "Uske chehere par bikul pachtawa nahi dikh raha afsos." TV personality, Nayandeep Rakshit has also commented on the video. He wrote:
"Sharam jab nahi hai, toh please inko 'depression' ka excuse deke chhoda na jaaye. Tab sab hum aise hi hasenge."
A few days back, Himanshu Jangra had a Google chat conversation with his former company, Starvik Design. During the conversation, Himanshu shared that for the last few days he has been receiving extreme backlash and has been trolled on social media. Himanshu mentioned that he never expected to receive so much hate. However, things got totally worse after he lost his job. He was quoted as saying:
"Condition bohot worse hai. Pichle do hafton se bohot zyada troll ho raha hoon Instagram pe. Mereko expectations nahi thi ki mein itna zyada troll, itna zyada hate milega mereko iss cheez ke liye. Yeha tak phir bhi theek tha, ghar wale utna tense nahi par unhe jab pata chala ki mereko job se nikal diya gaya, toh woh bohot zyada tensed ho gaye. Aur ab toh mere upar ek case ho gaya, mereko notice diya gaya hai. Bohot zyada worse condition hai. Mein bohot zyada tensed hoon. Ghar walon ko dekhta hoon toh bohot regret hota hai, lagta hai kyun gaya woh show mein."
During the same conversation, Himanshu alleged that the story behind Rs. 370 Biryani was fabricated for entertainment purposes. According to him, it was an improvised version and was not fully true. He then opened up about a girl whom he dated and said that they had a very good time together. He publicly apologised for his insensitive remark. In his words:
"Meine jo story batayi, usmein jo ladki ki baat kar raha hoon mein… Ha mein ek ladki ho date kiya tha, matlab humari achhi kafi baat hui, kaafi achhi bonding thi, kaafi achhi time spent kiya. Par meine jo show pe bataya woh totally true nahi. Mein manta bhi hoon, mere kuch words, galat words use kiya the. Mein uske liye sorry chahta hoon."
