Hema Malini and Dharmendra got married again on their 44th wedding anniversary, but Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol skipped the celebration.
Hema Malini and Dharmendra celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary in a unique way. Instead of a usual celebration, they got married again and pictures of their celebration while wearing huge varmalas have been making rounds on the internet. However, just like the last time, no one from the veteran actor's first family, including his sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, were part of the celebration.
The ice between Dharmendra's first wife, Prakash Kaur's children, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, has been melted, courtesy of the veteran actor's second wife, Hema Malini's daughters, Esha and Ahana. However, the two families still do not attend each other's big day. Recently, an insider talked to Bollywood Life about the reason behind Sunny and Bobby's absence from anniversary. The source revealed that the relationship between the Deol family has become cordial.

The insider also revealed that Sunny and Bobby shared a great bond with Esha and Ahana. Not only this, they have even been clicked together at the Gadar 2 success party. However, Sunny and Bobby didn't attend Dharmendra and Hema Malini's celebration because of their busy work schedules. While Bobby is not in town, Sunny is busy shooting for his film, Lahore 1947. The source was quoted as saying:
"Things have changed in the Deol family, today Sunny and Bobby are very cordial with Hema Malini and sisters Esha and Ahana Deol. In fact, they happily got clicked at the Gadar 2 success party together. Last evening Dharmendra and Hema Malini were celebrating their 44th anniversary, but Sunny and Bobby couldn't make it as they were shooting for their respective film. Bobby is not even in town, he is in Italy. While Sunny was shooting for a crucial scene from his film Lahore 1947 along with Preity Zinta."
On August 12, 2023, Esha hosted a special screening of her brother, Sunny's film, Gadar 2. Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol graced the event. It was the first time when we saw Dharmendra's children posing together for the cameras. Sunny and Bobby cutely hugged their sister, Esha. Later, the trio was joined by Ahana and her son. A fan page shared a video, and Dharmendra re-shared it on his IG page with an old Hindi song, 'Behna ka abhimaan tu'.
Hema Malini praised Sunny Deol and his acting skills in the blockbuster hit film, Gadar 2. Hema, who always kept herself away from Dharmendra's first family, saw the film on August 18, 2023, and happily gave bytes to the media. She shared that the movie was amazing and praised the directors. She also added that Sunny was super in the film. Hema Malini was quoted as saying:
"Sunny is superb, Utkarsh, Anil Sharma ji's son unhone ne bhi bohut sundar acting kiya hai. Jo nayi ladki hai, woh bhi bohut acchi hai. Yeh picture dekh kar ek dum rasjtra k prati jo bhav hone chahiye, patriotism, woh bohut hi hai."
