Naagin 3 Fame Heli Daruwala Is In Relationship With A Restaurateur For Almost Five-And-A-Half Years

Have you ever heard of the proverb – “The way to a man's heart is through his stomach”? But sometimes it goes the other way around too. Food is one of the simplest and foolproof ways to get a girl fall in love with you. Heli fell in love with a restaurant owner, Ankit Anand, but she gave her heart to his eatery before developing feelings for him. Ankit and Heli have been dating each other for almost five-and-a-half years now. In an interview with the Times Of India, Heli got candid and opened about her relationship with Ankit and their marriage plans.

When asked how she managed to keep her relationship under the wraps, she replied, “Well, no one asked me about it (smiles). All my friends in the industry know about us.” Elaborating her love story about how it started when Heli was pursuing dentistry, she expressed, “I would go to his restaurant almost every day with my friends, and he would join us. At that time, I didn’t know that he owned the restaurant.”

She went on to say, “Later, he tried connecting with me on social media, and I found it awkward. In fact, I blocked him for a few days. However, I didn’t want to appear rude and later talked it out with him. We became friends and fell in love six months later. It happened naturally; there was no official proposal.”

Heli is all praises for her boyfriend and says that his rooted and encouraging nature is something she appreciates the most about him. She stated, “He is very hard working and passionate. There are some people who prefer having their partners from the same field as they believe that different work fields can create clashes between the couples. Ankit and Heli are an exception who holds a different opinion. Belonging from different fields of work, Heli shares her experience, “Ankit is very understanding. We make time for each other. I spend all my off days with him. While I shoot from 9 am to 9 pm, he usually works at night. So, we meet for dinner after my shoot. We are very secure about each other. So, there is no space for any trouble. We trust each other and I have not given him a chance to feel otherwise.”

So, what about marriage? Heli replied, “That’s the obvious next step, but not immediately. We are focussed on our work for now. Both our families are aware of our relationship. They know kabhi toh hoga, but kab hoga ye nahi pata.” On July 14, 2018, i.e Heli’s birthday, Ankit shared a collage of pictures with her, and captioned it, “You have grown from a baby to a woman I'm proud of..Happy Birthday Hela”, to which Heli commented, “awwwwww Anky..!!” with heart and kiss emojis.

On February 10, 2017, i.e. Ankit’s birthday, Heli wrote a heartfelt message for him, “Happiest birthday my Ankyyyyy...!! I hope i tell you enough that you mean the world to me.... no write ups needed because i know you prefer it hand written..!!
