Harry Styles has been performing at Wembley Stadium as part of his 12-night Together, Together residency. While most of his performances are packed with entertainment and fun interactions with fans, the skit on Friday, June 26, 2026 (ET) left fans concerned after the singer choked on water and fell to the ground during London's record-breaking heat wave.

The 32-year-old musician had just done one of his signature onstage moves at Wembley Stadium when something appeared to go wrong. Harry Styles was performing his fan-favourite "whale" move, in which he spits water in a high, spout-like burst while performing concert closer As It Was. However, his usual smooth action was hindered as he appeared to choke on the remaining water in his mouth and fell to the ground.

The footage from the moment soon began making headlines. The moment has been captured from numerous angles in videos shared by fans on social media, showing the musician collapsing on his back, after which he appeared to continue coughing. While lying on the stage, Harry Styles appeared to heave several times, and he also rested his hands on his abdomen as he tried to catch his breath. After about 17 seconds, Styles got back up, seemingly in good spirits, before waving goodbye to the crowd.

Netizens express their concern over the incident

The Harry's House musician appeared to recover from the moment, taking the stage at Wembley for his next show on Saturday, June 27, 2026 (ET). However, despite looking good as always, fans continued to share concerns in posts highlighting the incident. "How come no one came and checked on him???", a user commented on the video of the moment. Another comment read, "Nobody ran to check on him." A fan pointed out how "incredibly hot" it was and said, "Serious or not, he does need to be careful though."

The United Kingdom is facing an extreme hate wave

While Harry Styles' reps have not commented on the incident, the singer's return on Saturday suggests he is doing well. However, fans have noticed that the Sign of the Times singer's shirt appeared to be wet with sweat during Friday's concert. The day raised concerns for people, as the UK's record for the hottest day in June was broken for a third day in a row, the BBC reported, citing the Met Office, the UK's national meteorological service.

As of Saturday, June 27, 2026 (ET), an extreme heat warning issued by the Met Office remains active in parts of eastern and southeastern England, with officials warning that "adverse health effects are likely to be experienced by those vulnerable to extreme heat" and others. The warning could be read as:

"The wider population are likely to experience some adverse health effects, including sunburn or heat exhaustion (dehydration, nausea, fatigue) and other heat-related illnesses."
