During the audition, Hannah Harper cried her eyes out as she recalled penning down her song, String Cheese. The song was her original, and with this, she shot to fame, as the song topped 21 on iTunes, and people loved it for the relatability that it held. The song was about postpartum depression, and Hannah, from her personal experience, penned this down. She also spoke about what led her to write a song. Hannah, who is a mom to three, revealed that she had a party at her home, and she was sitting on her couch.
It was after Hannah gave birth to her youngest son. Well, she was wallowing; it was during the time when her son came to her with a bag of cheese and asked her to open it. She revealed how she reacted, how she realised that God had put her in that place, and that where she was in my house was the biggest ministry she could ever have as a mom. She mentioned that she thought that she wouldn't let this thing take over her. This is the exact moment when she wrote the song, and it instantly struck a chord in people's hearts, with the amount of relatability. Hannah could be quoted as saying:
"I was sitting on my couch wallowing. I was just having a pity party and praying that the Lord would calm my spirit. My son kept coming up to me saying, ‘Mom, open my cheese,’ and I’m just like, ‘Just leave me alone with the dadgum cheese'. And I finally opened his cheese and when I did, I realized that God had put me in that place, and that where I was in my house was the biggest ministry that I could ever have in being a mom. I realized that was exactly what I wanted and I kicked the postpartum depression in the butt and I said, ‘I ain’t doing it.'"
