Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleKen Urker's sudden death on his 34th birthday has raised a lot of questions, with no answers in sight. But, his ex-partner, Gypsy Rose Blanchard, is convinced that he did not die by suicide. She made the big claim after initial media reports claimed that Ken talked about being depressed a day before his death. Later, investigators also found a handgun near his body. Still, they are waiting for the final toxicology reports before confirming any claims.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard recently updated an online petition demanding stronger protections against cyberbullying. She stated that she was "100% certain" that Ken did not take his own life. Gypsy admitted that the official cause of his death has not yet been confirmed. But she does not believe that he would take the drastic step. Previously, she described that Ken died of a suspected overdose, but she was not sure whether it was accidental.
She also linked Ken's death to the emotional stress that he was facing due to online harassment. He had reportedly resorted to unhealthy coping strategies like using drugs and alcohol. However, her statement does not make any claims about his medical cause of death, which is still under investigation.
Gypsy's petition also urged a proposed measure known as Kenan's Law. It is named after Ken's legal name, Kenan Ker. Under the proposed law, Gypsy wants social media companies to consider repeated harassment as a pattern and not an isolated incident. Her proposal includes human reviews of serious cases, preserving reports and evidence. She has also asked for greater transparency and accountability from online platforms.
Gypsy has also pointed out the negative impacts of online forums, as she believes its targeted harassment affected her family. She has also argued that consistent cyberbullying should be taken seriously before it causes any further harm.
For those who don't know, Ken Urker's sister, Autumn Urker, has publicly called out many of Gypsy's statements. One major point of disagreement between them is Gypsy's relationship with Ken. Although, Gypsy has described that Ken was her soulmate and suggested that they were close till he died, Autumn claimed that they broke up a month before his death.
Autumn has also denied Gypsy's claims about how she responded when they could not reach Ken. The family has also expressed frustration over the public discussion about his death and the different narratives around Ken and Gypsy's relationship. Autumn earlier shared Ken's final words to her, "I love you." Despite the disagreements, reports suggest that Gypsy is welcomed at his funeral in Texas.
Autumn also shared a glimpse of the possible medical circumstances behind Ken's death. According to her, preliminary medical reports suggest that he had serious cardiovascular issues such as an enlarged heart and several blockages in his arteries.
Ken Urker was found dead at his home in Raceland, Louisiana, on October 1, 2026. He was found unresponsive after his family raised concerns. They also called the authorities for a welfare check. They were alarmed when he failed to show up at work and didn't reply to any calls. Authorities reportedly found syringes and other items at the property. Still, there were no immediate signs of struggle or evidence of any gunshot wound.
Later, the Lafourche Parish Coroner's Office did an autopsy, and investigators are waiting for the toxicology results to confirm anything. They have not revealed any final cause of Ken's death. Instead, the investigation remains open.
