Tanya Mittal has once again grabbed attention, as one of her old videos has gone viral and sparked a FIR in Gwalior.
The reality show, Bigg Boss 19 hosted by Salman Khan has been grabbing a lot of attention because of its intense fights, drama and controversies. One of the most talked-about contestants of this season is the spiritual influencer, Tanya Mittal. Well, recently, Tanya Mittal has found herself in the middle of a legal controversy because of one of her videos that is going viral.
A recent report by Aaj Tak revealed that a resident of Gwalior, Shishupal Singh Kanshana has complained against the Bigg Boss 19 contestant, Tanya Mittal regarding one of her old videos. Shishupal complained to ASP Anu Beniwal and demanded an FIR against her, as her video of using a potash gun went viral soon after the district banned its making, sale, and use.
Reportedly, the ASP has asked the cyber team to investigate the matter and provide a clear picture soon. Meanwhile, some reports claim that since Tanya Mittal is inside the Bigg Boss house, the video has to be old. For those who don't know, Gwalior district administration banned potash guns just a few days before Diwali 2025.

Bigg Boss 19 premiered on August 24, 2025, and since day one, Tanya Mittal has been receiving the most attention, for both good and bad reasons. While the influencer initially made headlines for her luxurious lifestyle outside the reality show, currently she is making headlines because of her recent fight with her fellow contestant and best friend, Neelam Giri.
The fight between Tanya and Neelam began in one of the recent episodes, when the influencer was seen talking to Farrhana Bhatt. Bhojpuri actress, Neelam Giri looked disappointed with this and confronted Tanya. She was quoted as saying:
"Jis insaan ne iss ghar mein mujhe sabse zyada rulaya hai, sabse zyada hurt kiya hai, uss se tum baat kar rahi ho."
This matter soon escalated and involved the entire Bigg Boss house. All the contestants gave their opinion on this. In the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode, host, Salman Khan also shed light on this issue and questioned, "Tanya aur Farrhana ek saath hangout karne lage toh ye pura ghar kyu hila?" Later, Tanya declared that she has ended her friendship with Neelam Giri.

In Bigg Boss 19, she captured the attention of viewers and fellow contestants, when she claimed to have a luxurious life.
Later, evicted contestant, Awez Darbar opened up about Tanya Mittal's claims and shared that she has lied a lot about her lifestyle. Awez had mentioned that in the beginning he used to believe everything that Tanya shared, but after being eliminated from the show, he has realised the reality.
