Van was starting to get famous with her indie movies, while Natt was already famous for his role in The Naked Brothers Band and also Paper Towns. He was also trying to do a lot of mature roles. Both the young stars had felt a natural connection towards one another and were also independently working on movies.
A report by Popsugar revealed that it was in 2017 when Grace Van Patten reportedly confirmed her relationship with Natt Wolf, when she wrote a birthday note for the actor on her Instagram. Well the ex-pair never addressed their relationship in the public, they were seen supporting one another's professional lives on the social media. Cut to May 2018, the ex-pair had walked the red carpet at the Christian Dior Couture spring/ summer 2019 cruise collection. Natt had given Grace a kiss, too, for the cameras. Well, it was in 2019 when Grace and Van attended many events together and costarred in Good Posture. Neither of them officially confirmed their relationship until Wolff's celebratory anniversary post in 2020. The ex-pair was then seen at the premiere of Amazon Studios' Panic in 2021. Fans speculated whether they were still in a relationship.
Well, earlier reports revealed of how the sets of Good Posture marked the relationship og Grace and Natt. They took their on-screen chemistry off-screen and were then seen at movie premiers and fashion shows. They kept their relationship low-key, but reports indicate they had amicably separated. Grace was already doing well with her line of movies, and her romantic life with Natt was hogging the limelight. When Grace and Natt were filming Nine Perfect Strangers, the actress, in an interview with Vogue Australia, revealed that both had rented a camper van and driven along the entire Aussie coast. Grace remembered how she and Natt drove down the whole coast, all the way to Melbourne. It was a month. It was the best time ever driving down the coast. In her words:
"It was magical… I felt like I really needed to soak it all in and I had nothing to go back to, I mean, besides my family. That was the hardest thing, just being away from my family that long. But I felt like it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I probably will not have the opportunity again, to live in a van and just take it day by day. So it was a really important experience for me.”
Natt Wolf had etched his name as a successful actor with his work in The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie. Earlier, in an interview with I-d.Co, Natt revealed what his past relationship had taught him. He revealed how it taught him to find balance and revealed:
"It’s also about finding that balance — and I know that I relate a lot here — of not abandoning yourself and your feelings, not dissociating and pushing them down so they come out in more destructive ways. Being honest about them but not necessarily having to involve the rest of the world."
