Geeta Phogat Twins With Hubby, Pawan And Son, Arjun Saroha As They Celebrate Her Brother's Birthday

Geeta Phogat's equally talented wrestler-brother, Dushyant Phogat turned 18 on June 12, 2020, and to make the day special, his sister had planned an intimate celebration at home.

A lot has been said and written about how the Phogat sisters, Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat have made the nation proud with their achievements in wrestling. And in the film, Dangal, we have seen their journey to being wrestlers and Geeta winning the first-ever gold medal in wrestling at the Commonwealth Games in 2010. It was in November 2019, when the longest brother of Geeta Phogat had won a gold medal and his proud sister had penned a special note for him on her IG handle. Posting a picture of him, posing with his medal, Geeta had written, "Phogat parivar ka ubharta hua ek aur naya pehelwan. Delhi mein hone wale school national games mein mere sabse chhote aur ladle bhai @dushyantphogat80 ko 80kg bhar varg me gold medal jeetne par bohot bohot badhai aur subhkamnayein #proudfamily."

Geeta Phogat's equally talented brother, Dushyant Phogat turned 18 on June 12, 2020, and to make the day special, his sister had planned an intimate celebration at home. Geeta, her hubby, Pawan Kumar Saroha and their son, Arjun Saroha twinned in yellow for the celebrations while the birthday boy, Dushyant and his sister, Sangeeta Phogat twinned with each other in black. Sharing the picture from the celebrations, Geeta wrote, "Happyyyyyyyy Birthdayyyyyyyy Bhai @dushyantphogat80 #birthdaycelebration."

Dushyant Phogat posted some more pictures with his sisters, Geeta Phogat and Sangeeta Phogat, brother-in-law, Pawan Kumar Saroha and the youngest member of the family, his nephew, Arjun Saroha. Dushyant captioned the pictures as "Aap sabhi ko dil se dhanyavad janamdin ki shubhkamnao ke liye." Dushyant's sister, Ritu Phogat also posted a picture with her baby brother and wished him through social media, "Congratulations on getting slightly older. Happy birthday angry young men. But for me still lil brother @dushyantphogat80."

Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat became capable and accomplished on the professional front, so much so that they had chosen equally proficient life partners for themselves. While Geeta Phogat had taken a break from her career to take care of her baby, her husband, Pawan Kumar Saroha had made everyone proud by winning a gold medal in National Championship in November 2019. And it was his proud wife, Geeta, who had taken to her IG handle to congratulate her ‘dear husband’. Posting pictures of Pawan posing with his medal, Geeta wrote, “Congratulations to my dear husband @pawankumar_saroha86 for winning Gold Medal in National Championship you deserve it Proud of you my love.”

Post delivering a child, the mommy not only wants to cherish every single moment spend with her little one and puts everything on a backseat with her kid getting the priority and attention, but she also waits for the right time to come for her to resume her work. Geeta Phogat is no different as she is hoping to get back to her fit self as being an athlete, that’s the most important for her. Posting a then-and-now collage with her May 2019 and May 2020 pictures a few days back, Geeta had written, “I just can't wait to get myself back into shape because I love fitness. I want to be more, fit and stronger #Back2fitness get moving, stay on track and meet your goal” as her caption.

In an interview with the Filmfare, Geeta Phogat had revealed the unknown details of her life that we haven’t seen in the film, Dangal, which is based on her life and struggles. Speaking of her childhood memories of training with her father, Mahavir Singh Phogat, Geeta had said, “It’s not possible to forget those initial 5-6 years of my training. Those were the most difficult years. We had to work really hard be it scorching heat or cold winters. My father used to wake us up at 3:30 in the morning and we had to practise in the akhada for three hours. Post which we went to school and on returning in the evening, we had to train again for 2-3 hours.
