Gautam Rode Gets Engaged In A Secret Ceremony; Shares First Picture With Fiancee Pankhuri Awasthy

Indian film industry and telly land is a home of many affairs and relationships. Often, we hear the news of someone getting hitched to another, and someone making shocking revelations about their relationship status. But, at the end marriages and engagements make us the happiest.

One such TV celeb who has been doing rounds because of his personal life is the Suryaputra Karn fame actor Gautam Rode.

Since the day the show started airing, Gautam has always been rumoured to be dating his co-star from the serial, Pankhuri Awasthy. Time and again, there have been recurring news and rumours about their relationship.

Until now, the couple has dodged every such report and conjecture. But now, the cat is out of the bag. Speaking to the Indian Express, Gautam has revealed that he has been engaged to Pankhuri. That’s right! 

This is what he was quoted as saying:

“Yes, Pankhuri and I got recently engaged. It happened during Diwali days. We both are very happy.”

Gautam shared the first picture with his fiancee, Pankhuri, after the two got engaged.

Pankhuri also thanked her well-wishers with this cutesy picture and caption:

I carry the sun in a golden cup, The moon in a silver bag. Thank you everyone for your wishes and blessings.

Recently, in June, Pankhuri shifted to a house which was nearby Gautam’s residence, and at an event, she also met his mother and took her blessings. There were strong speculations, that the couple had tied the nuptial knot. But then those were untrue.

In fact, during that time, when the Indian Express approached Pankhuri about the rumours doing rounds everywhere, she said:

“I don’t want to comment on this now. I will talk about it when the time is right. I don’t think this is the right time to comment about it.”

On the professional front, Guatam will next be seen in the Hindi film Aksar-2 opposite Zareen Khan, and Pankhuri currently stars in Star Plus show Kya Kasoor Hai Amla Ka.
