Farrhana Bhatt reacted to losing the 'Bigg Boss 19' trophy to Gaurav Khanna. She not only called him 'undeserving' but also talked about his fans being in his favour.
Bigg Boss 19 finally announced Gaurav Khanna as the winner. Since the last few days, predictions, polls, and even insider information have hinted that Gaurav Khanna would be the winner, and this buzz turned out to be true. While Gaurav Khanna has been predicted as the winner, a certain section of netizens thought it would be Farrhana Bhatt, and this season was even called the 'Farrhana Bhatt season'. Well, she ended up as the runner-up, and now she talked about Gaurav being the winner of Bigg Boss 19, and called him 'undeserving'.
Talking to Filmygyan, Farrhana Bhatt talked about Gaurav Khanna being the winner of Bigg Boss 19 and her being the runner-up. Farrhana revealed that the fact that she got so much love that people were even calling this season on her name, is actually what she wanted more than the trophy and winner tag. She said that she won hearts and that's the most important thing to her. She stated that she might not have the trophy in her hand, but she considers herself the winner of the show. Farrhana Bhatt could be quoted as saying:
"I am truly satisfied. Though I don’t have the trophy in my hand, I am the star of this season, which I definitely believe. As people say, this season is Farrhana Bhatt’s season. I can’t believe people have given me so much love. I needed this love more than the trophy."
In the same interview, Farrhana Bhatt was asked if she thinks Gaurav Khanna is a deserving winner. To this, the first runner-up said that she doesn't think that Gaurav Khanna is a deserving winner, as she feels that he didn't do anything in Bigg Boss, and he also didn't attempt to do anything that marks him as the winner. Farrhana also shared her perspective, stating that Gaurav has been on TV for so long, and he has a lot of fans, who might have decided to vote for him to win. Stating that she respects the audience's choice, Farrhana Bhatt said:
"I don’t really think so because he never did anything in Bigg Boss. Not even one thing he has done makes him look like a winner. But since he has been on TV and this reality show airs on TV, he might have his TV audience who voted for him. So, respect to them and their choice.”
Gaurav Khanna is a famous actor in the Television world, and he has been winning hearts with his skills, which led him to be a fan favourite. Well, Farrhana Bhatt once denied watching any show of Gaurav. It so happened that during a captaincy task, Farrhana and Gaurav got caught in a verbal spat, and the former questioned the latter if he was a 'superstar', mentioning that neither she nor Tanya had ever seen any of his shows. Gaurav stayed composed and mentioned that he would not brag about his power in the television world, but he would not shy away from accepting that he is actually a superstar.
During that week's Weekend Ka Vaar, Farrhana was schooled by Salman Khan. Khan bashed her for her comments on Gaurav, stating that she is ignorant if she hasn't watched any of Gaurav's shows. Salman praised Gaurav for his composed reaction, sharing that if it had happened to him, he would surely have lost it. Salman bashed Farrhana and mentioned that not only he but his mother as well watched Gaurav's show, and the latter never boasted about anything, adding that he actually is a superstar.
