Fans have been stunned by the presence of Akanksha, as she reportedly earlier denied being present on the sets of the show. She was seen driving her car, donning a red lip shade, and fans could not stop comparing her with Saiyaara fame, Aneet Padda. Netizens think Gaurav's wife, Akanksha, has a strikingly similar appearance to Aneet.

Akanksha was earlier seen on the live video of evicted Bigg Boss 19 contestant, Mridul Tiwari. During an Instagram live session, Mridul told Akanksha that if Gaurav went to the finale and won the trophy, he would be very happy. Mridul shared from his heart that he wants it to happen and that he will be happy as Gaurav will make UP and Noida proud by winning the trophy. Mridul shared his support for Gaurav and called him a genuine person. Apart from showing love and support, Akanksha had shared that she was not sure if she could attend Bigg Boss 19 finale. This conversation happened when Mridul said of going and supporting Gaurav in the Bigg Boss house, getting the trophy with him, to which Akanksha said:
"If I am unable to attend the finale (because of my work), I want Mridul to give Gaurav this message that I tried very hard to come. I myself want to be there at the finale and stand with Gaurav holding the trophy."
