When winters come, it brings a list full of weddings. After Vinny-Dheeraj and Karan-Tiaara, another wedding that all fans have been waiting for is of Gaurav Khanna and Akansha Chamola.

We just recently informed you about Gaurav and Akansha’s innovative wedding card. In case you missed it earlier, take a look right here! And finally, these lovebirds got hitched yesterday (November 24, 2016), and it was truly a lavish and grand affair!

Puja Banerjee, who happens to be a close friend of Gaurav was also present at the wedding, and shared some amazing pictures of the mastibhari night. Gaurav sported a heavy royal blue coloured sherwani along with a pagdi, and was looking no less than a prince.

To let you all know, Akansha didn’t even recognise him when they first met. Here’s what Gaurav told a leading entertainment portal earlier:

“It is one of the funniest stories where we met at an audition and she did not recognise me. Of course, I am no Shah Rukh Khan, but being in television we are aware about other actors. However, apparently, Akanksha never even use to watch television before entering into the industry. So she wasn’t aware about anything.”

The actor further added:

“She use to sweetly guide me about being an actor till I did not tell who I actually am (laughs). Then one thing led to other and things transpired. My friends from television also tell me that your love story will be an amazing storyline for a show actually.”

And when recently asked about their honeymoon plans, the Tere Bin actor was quoted as saying:

“Both of us are stuck with our TV commitments. Honeymoon will have to wait as we will be visiting our relatives after the wedding. We plan to go on a long honeymoon once we get some time off from work.”

For all those who don’t know, the duo and their families are going to have a Mata Ki Chowki today (November 25, 2016) to thank the Almighty for the blessings!
