Recently, Akanksha Chamola took to her Instagram handle and shared a cryptic note. In the note, Akanksha mentioned in Hindi that if a relationship starts with needs, it always makes the heart suffer. Along with the note, Akanksha wrote a caption, "Just when we thought we were ready, we weren’t." Both the cryptic note and the caption gained traction, and people started speculating that there might be some trouble in Akanksha Chamola and Gaurav Khanna’s marriage. The note can be read as:

In a recent interview with Bombay Times, Akanksha cleared the air surrounding her cryptic note. She clarified that it was not meant for her husband, Gaurav Khanna. She mentioned that her post was part of a promotion for her upcoming series. She added that there has been no trouble in her marriage to Gaurav Khanna. She was quoted as saying:
"There is absolutely no trouble in our marriage, and the post had nothing to do with Gaurav. I am not someone who discusses personal matters on social media. The post was meant to promote my upcoming series. It was open to interpretation, but it was blown out of proportion."
After Akanksha's cryptic note made headlines, many speculated that it might be her decision not to have kids, a reason behind their alleged separation. In a 2025 interview with News18 Showsha, Gaurav Khanna revealed that he had happily agreed to his wife, Akanksha’s decision not to have kids. For the uninitiated, the couple tied the knot on November 24, 2016 and have not embraced parenthood yet. During the show, Bigg Boss 19, Gaurav shared that although he loves kids, Akanksha decided not to have kids, and he respects her decision. However, he understood her point of view and agreed with her. Speaking of the same, Gaurav said:
"Why do we always think that only our wives should support us? We are men. We should support women more. And I am very happy that this question has been raised. Because if my wife is not ready for something, then I am not ready either. So we don’t want kids. She doesn’t want it, and I agree with that. I am very happy. My love for my wife is much more than any other choice. So I feel, if 10-15 more people start thinking like this, then the world can be a little better."
