Yes! Speaking to British Vogue, Maisie Williams revealed that she once paid an Etsy witch to help her manifest a role in a movie. Maisie Williams said that after she contacted the witch, she had to do several things, including reciting some things every night that the witch asked her to. Maisie followed everything that she was instructed to do; however, it actually didn't work out.
In the same interview, Maisie Williams shared that she may not be sold on Etsy, but she partakes in superstitions. The actress said that she doesn't 'swear' by it, but she had done it and partaken in it. She further admitted that some superstitions make her feel 'uncomfortable'. Maisie Williams could be quoted as saying:
"I don't swear by it. I've done it. Listen, I've partaken. But it makes me feel uncomfortable every time, even if I sometimes end up walking into ongoing traffic. I just have to. I stick with that one. It makes me feel like everything is going to be fine. It makes me feel like I have control over the uncontrollable, which I don't."
Maisie grabbed attention with her appearance at the London event. As she is playing Sandra Bullock's daughter, she was recently dressed like her to keep up with the theme. Yes, Maisie slipped into a custom burgundy 2-piece gown. To mention, it was designed to echo the T-shirt-and-skirt combo, something that echoes what Sandra Bullock wore back in 1999.
In an interview with The Telegraph, Maisie Williams talked about the fear of 'rejection' that she had to face after the series Game of Thrones ended. The then 23-year-old shared that after the famous HBO series ended, she had to start auditioning again, and it was really hard for her as well, because she had never been told 'no'.
Game of Thrones was the second program she ever auditioned for, and that launched her career. Speaking further on the same, Maisie stated that there's always competition, and no matter how many famous roles someone has done, they will still lose out on opportunities in this industry. Maisie had to learn that rejection eventually was not necessarily a personal thing. Speaking more about the same, Maisie said:
“The industry is built upon rejection. I'm definitely learning that now — how to overcome the rejection and not see it as a personal thing. But learning to be told no is really difficult as someone who's an established actor.”
