Pakistani singer-turned-actor, Farhan Saeed and his actress-wife, Urwa Hocane, recently welcomed their bundle of joy, a baby girl, Jahan Aara Saeed, into this world. The couple, who got married in 2016, shared the news of their pregnancy in 2023, and then on January 3, 2024, their baby girl was born in the US. Since then, the doting parents often share glimpses of their special moments with their bundle of joy on social media.
Recently, the Pakistani actress, Urwa took to her Instagram account and posted a few glimpses in the form of a reel commemorating the aqiqa ceremony of their baby girl, Aara. For the unversed, aqiqa or aqeeqah is an Islamic tradition to celebrate the birth of a child. The newbie mommy captured several memorable moments from the ceremony. One such noteworthy picture was that of Jahan Aara, whose feet were only visible in the glimpse, and she was seen wearing Urwa’s first shoes, which the actress’ mother saved for all these years. Sharing the reel, Urwa captioned it as:
“Sharing a precious little glimpse from our life! P.S. The last weekend before Ramzan, when Aara met her entire family at home for aqiqa and wore my first shoes, my mother saved all these years!”

At the beginning of the video, the new parents, Farhan and Urwa posed for the camera while looking lost in each other’s eyes. For the aqiqa ceremony of their little angel, the actress was wearing an elegant floral-printed gharara set, and Farhan donned a white-hued kurta pyjama. Further in the video, the couple was also seen posing with a few of their family members. Moreover, the reel also showcased the decoration of Farhan and Urwa’s home, a box adorned with the name of their baby girl, and the mouthwatering dishes specially made for the ceremony.
A while back, the Pakistani actress shared some pictures from her life as a new mom on her Instagram account. In the pictures, Urwa Hocane was dressed in a pink-striped co-ord set. She flaunted her chunky diamond wedding ring as well. The actress also gave a glimpse of her baby girl, Aara’s corner in their home. The picture featured a wooden crib, which was decorated with various soft toys and the wall above it had Aara’s name on a cloud-shaped room decor. In one of the pictures, Urwa was also seen holding a coffee mug which was inscribed with “This MAMA belongs to Aara.”

Previously, Urwa Hocane took to her Instagram account to share a few moments as they celebrated their baby girl’s one-month birthday. On February 9, 2024, the Pakistani actress uploaded a carousel post and mentioned that her daughter’s one-month birthday celebration was the perfect end to their US trip. She posted pictures of her husband, Farhan, and other family members holding their little bundle of joy in their arms. Urwa also gave a sneak peek into their celebrations and captioned the post as:
“Aara’s 1-month birthday celebrations have been the perfect end to our USA trip! Alhumdulillah for family! Hello Pakistan!”
