Bollywood actor, Farhan Akhtar and model-actress, Shibani Dandekar have been dating for four years now, and finally, the couple will be taking the plunge soon to get married. As the rumours are rife, the lovebirds will tie the knot on February 21, 2022. For the unversed, Farhan Akhtar was previously married to Adhuna Bhabani, and they have two daughters, Shakya Akhtar and Akira Akhtar, whom they co-parent after their divorce.
Unlike every other Bollywood couple, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar have never kept their relationship under wraps. Every now and then, they share pictures on their respective social media platforms, keeping their fans updated. Now, the couple is getting married, and we cannot keep calm.

In an interview with the Bombay Times, Javed Akhtar opened up about his son's marriage and shared that it would be a simple wedding affair. It would take place at Javed Akhtar's family home in Khandala. They will have a few guests attending their wedding, keeping the Covid-19 protocols. The doting father said:
"Yes, the wedding is taking place. Rest, shaadi ki jo taiyyariyan hain that is being taken care of by the wedding planners.”
Talking about the guest list and the intimate ceremony, Javed Akhtar shared:
"Taking the situation into consideration it is obvious that we cannot host anything on a large scale. So, we are only calling a few people. It will be a very simple affair. Khair abhi tak toh invitations bhi nahi bheje gaye hai.”

In a previous Bollywood Life report, it was stated that Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar had already finalised the wedding venue and had booked a 5-star hotel for their wedding festivities. Talking about Farhan and Shibani's wedding outfits, it was reported that the couple has decided to opt for the Sabyasachi collection. The report had further revealed:
"The couple have booked a 5-star hotel as their wedding venue and have almost finalised everything. Shibani and Farhan, too, have chosen Sabyasachi outfits (like Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal) for their big day and will keep it minimal with pastel colours."
