The latest episode of 'Euphoria' Season 3 is now streaming on HBO. It features unpredictable moments, and they are expected to receive a mixed response from the audience.
Euphoria Season 3 is slowly moving towards its finale. The latest episode, Rain or Shine, started streaming on May 26, 2026. Sam Levinson has previously hinted that a lot of things are expected to happen. Notably, the new episode has some moments that might lead to mixed reactions from the audience. The third season’s setting has undoubtedly not satisfied the critics. But fans have clearly accepted everything that is happening on screen. The episode starts with ‘Ali’ doing something that has not happened so far. He is smoking. Notably, a flashback reveals that he is at home with his wife and kids. But his wife tries to leave, and ‘Ali’ displays a violent side of himself, beating his wife. Even the kids can hear the noise of the same. ‘Ali’ even appears with a sex worker and tells her that he does not want his kids to take the same path as him. ‘Ali’ is later spotted in a hospital, and he tells a nurse that he does not want anything inside his body while she approaches to give him morphine.
‘Ali’ eventually joins the addicts and tries to change himself. He recalls everything that has happened to him over the years, telling an addict that hope never dies. He even gets in touch with the addicts during the pandemic. ‘Ali’ even tries to help ‘Rue’ at one point, which is expected to be a big challenge for him. He even discovers an addict hanging in a garage, and he had previously told the person that the future is going to be bright.
‘Rue’ and ‘Lexi’ have a conversation while the latter is busy with her work on the laptop. ‘Rue’ tells her that she has found God and seen Him. However, ‘Lexi’ is seemingly not ready to believe anything, and ‘Rue’ starts reading the bible on the couch. ‘Rue’ still cannot stop talking, and she refers to something called “Joshua tree.” She says that she saw it burning and recalls the bad things that she has done so far.
‘Rue’ even tells ‘Lexi’ at one point that she works for the ‘Naz’ is. But ‘Lexi’ refuses to trust ‘Rue’ when she says that she works for the DEA. ‘Lexi’ reacts by telling ‘Rue’ that this is one of the reasons that her mother is not talking to her anymore. However, ‘Rue’ dismisses the claim and says that she is speaking to her mother as she walks out, frustrated.
‘Lexi’ witnesses that the shades of ‘Cassie’s’ apartment have been shut down. ‘Lexi’ knocks on the door, and a man can be spotted on the other side with a gun in his hand. It is revealed that ‘Cassie’ had failed to pay ‘Naz’. Notably, the duo had a conversation after ‘Naz’ sent ‘Nate’s’ finger to ‘Cassie’. Meanwhile, ‘Cassie’s’ efforts to restore her OnlyFans account have not worked, and it has been removed. Apart from all these, ‘Cassie’ has also lost her part on the show, L.A. Nights, since the producers are not willing to cast a sex worker.
‘Maddy’s’ links with ‘Cassie’ lead to her firing, and she confronts ‘Cassie’. ‘Maddy’ is upset that ‘Cassie’ deleted her OnlyFans account and regrets the fact that they reunited again. ‘Maddy’ even tells ‘Cassie’ to follow her words in terms of her career. She even slaps ‘Cassie’. ‘Maddy’ then manages to fix a date between ‘Cassie’ and 'Dylan Reid.' The duo gets intimate, and ‘Cassie’ shares their pictures through 'Dylan’s' Instagram handle when he leaves the room for some time.
On the other hand, 'Dylan' is drinking water while not noticing that ‘Nate’s’ finger is also on the cup. While ‘Maddy’ believes that everything is fine now, she finds ‘Nate’s’ finger in the sink. ‘Nate’ then requests that ‘Cassie’ come with the money while he is tied up by ‘Naz’.
‘Rue’ decides to tell a fabricated story of being attacked by ‘Alamo’ to ‘Laurie’. ‘Rue’ even hits her face for that. ‘Cassie’ is making a video when she is thrown into a glass table by a man working for ‘Naz’. She is then tied up in the bedroom, with ‘Naz’ telling her that she must pay within 72 hours. However, ‘Nate’ faces a worse situation where he is buried with an air tube. Despite being buried below his own property, ‘Nate’s’ brother fails to find him, and a rattlesnake appears to bring more complications.
‘Rue’ wants to find ‘Cassie’, and while ‘Maddy’ joins the mission, ‘Lexi’ does not want to help her. ‘Cassie’ manages to get in touch with ‘Maddy’. ‘Naz’ asks for USD 1 million from ‘Maddy’ by threatening to injure ‘Cassie’. ‘Maddy’ tries to arrange some money from ‘Alamo’, and she succeeds in doing that. Meanwhile, the snake has already entered the coffin where ‘Nate’ has been buried and bites him in the neck, leading to his death.
‘Maddy’ brings the money to ‘Naz’, who brings ‘Cassie’ out of the car with his man. But a surprise awaits ‘Naz’ as he finds that the bad is empty and is shot dead by ‘Naz’. Although ‘Nate’s’ coffin is taken out, he is found to be dead. On the other hand, ‘Rue’ is locked down by ‘Wayne’, who wants ‘Faye’ to kill her. But ‘Faye’ intends to take ‘Wayne’s’ money, which is missing from the safe.
