Jacob Elordi spoke about 'Euphoria 3', and he didn't sound enthusiastic about the same, while revealing that there's a chance of him not doing well in the series.
Euphoria is back with season 3 after a four-year hiatus, and fans have been left excited. The first season premiered in 2019, with the second season being released in 2022, and now, after four years, the series is back with season 3, which is also said to be the finale of the series. HBO drama will show a five-year leap with season 3 hitting the screens.
The show premiered on April 12, 2026, and will continue to be released through May 31, 2026. While people have started watching the released episodes, some are in awe, while other called it not worth the wait. It was a few months ago, when Jacob Elordi, who plays one of the lead roles in the show, spoke about the same, while revealing that he's not sure and also added that there's a good chance that he didn't do well in the series.
It was back in December 2025, when, during a conversation with Gwyneth Paltrow for Variety’s Actors on Actors, Euphoria star, Jacob Elordi was asked about Euphoria 3. To this, he shared that he finished filming the series and it's completely different.
Elordi plays the role of 'Nate Jacobs' in the series, and he was asked if his role has gotten any better in season 3, other than in seasons 1 and 2. To this, he thinks that 'Nate' has gotten nicer. He went on to add that whether it works or not, there's a chance, and he didn't do well, and thus, he is not sure. Jacob could be quoted as saying:
"I finished filming just recently, and it’s a completely different thing. I really do think so. Whether it works or not, I don’t know. There’s a chance that what we've done — what I’ve done — is not good. I'm not sure."
Jacob Elordi plays the role of 'Nate Jacobs' in the gritty drama series, Euphoria. 'Nate' is a troubled high school football player with an abusive father, and as per Elordi, his role in the series is somewhat of a narcissist and a sociopath. But as most will agree, 'Nate' is an antihero in Euphoria. In the series, he was seen having a relationship, toxic one with 'Maddy Perez' (Alexa Demie), while also having an affair with his girlfriend's bestie 'Cassie Howard' (Sydney Sweeney).
By season 3, 'Nate' is with 'Cassie' while 'Maddy' would return to help her old bestie shoot content for her adult channel. In season 3, 'Cassie' will marry 'Nate', but how things will evolve, only time will tell. If the reports are to be believed, Jacob Elordi was paid USD 70K per episode in the series, Euphoria 3. If the reports are to be believed, season 3 could be the closure for the HBO drama.
A few days ago, Zendaya also revealed that she thinks that the closure is near. On the other hand, apart from Zendaya, Sam Levinson, head of US broadcaster HBO, Francesca Orsi, also hinted that season 3 will be the end of the series. According to several reports, the series's third season has a budget of USD 200 million, making it one of the most expensive projects of HBO, and it will be something different.
