Esha Shares Her Baby Girl, Radhya's First Glimpse, Little Munchkin Is Her Mommy's Spitting Image

Bollywood actress, Esha Deol and her hubby, Bharat Takhtani, welcomed their first child, a baby girl on October 20, 2017. Later they named her Radhya. Hema Malini, Bollywood’s dream girl, yesteryear’s revered actress and Esha’s mom earlier shared her feelings by saying, “It’s such a beautiful feeling to become a grandmom again! I am very excited right now. Even Dharmendra ji is very happy. Esha is doing well, and the newborn baby girl, whom Esha and her husband Bharat Takhtani have decided to name Radhya, is so sweet and lovely-looking, like a little doll!.”

And now, since the day Radhya was born, fans have been waiting to catch her first glimpse. And yesterday, mommy Esha teased her fans. She shared a picture on her Instagram handle and captioned it, “A glimpse of Radhya !!!”. For a few seconds whoever looked at the picture for the first time actually believed that it’s Radhya’s pic. But hang on! It’s actually Esha’s pic of her childhood days.

Esha can be seen sitting on her nanny’s lap carrying a curious look on her face. With this picture, Esha has basically hinted out that her adorable daughter looks her like her mommy. Isn’t that a sweet gesture by Esha? Speaking of Radhya’s resemblance with Esha, here’s what daddy Bharat had earlier said on the little munckin looks like him, “It’s hard to express how happy I feel today! I think the baby looks like me and when she smiles, the world smiles at you. Earlier, talking about Radhya’s name, Hema ji had said, “My Mathura people are very happy. Krishna ki nagri hai, toh Radha Rani is important there.” She further added, “I was equally excited when Darien (Ahana Deol's younger daughter) was born. But he has grown up so fast, and now goes to playschool. But I am scared to hold these babies, though I did it in my time. In the next few years, even Radhya will grow up and start going to school... how time flies! But I am happy seeing the way Esha and Bharat are handling things. They are so excited, almost as if they have a little new toy to play with.”

When Radhya was born, the elated father announced the happy news to the whole world saying, “We are very happy to announce that our daughter will be named as Radhya Takhtani. The name has been jointly decided by Esha and me.” His mother-in-law and legendary Hema ji was quoted as saying, “Friday October 20 was a special and wonderful day! Esha was blessed with a beautiful baby girl and my cup of happiness is full. Ab ghar par Lakshmiji aa gayi (Lakshmi has arrived at home).” For those of you who do not know, Esha and Bharat recently got married for the second time.
