During Netflix's Q3 earnings call in October 2025, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos referenced the return of several major series in 2026, and Emily in Paris was among them. According to Show Snob, referring to the new year, Ted said:
"I wanted to give you a little bit of color into 2026."
He listed Emily in Paris, along with the expected list of shows for 2026, including fan-favorite titles such as Bridgerton, Ginny & Georgia, and Virgin River. This update has fueled the speculation that Season 6 might be in the pipeline. The show's creators, Darren Star, also spoke to PEDESTRIAN.TV in 2024 and expressed his enthusiasm for continuing the show for as many seasons as they can, suggesting there is plenty of story left to tell.
