Emilie Kiser welcomed her 16-month-old son Teddy with husband Brady Kiser and has spent the past year mourning the death of her older son Trigg. The TikToker is also expecting her third child and has openly talked about the fears she has after Trigg's death. However, recently a video of their trip to Mallorca, which has now been deleted, made headlines.

In the video, Emilie Kiser and Brady Kiser can be seen with Madi Curtis, her husband, Campton Curtis, and their children, and in one brief part, Teddy could be seen sitting on the boat without a life jacket on. At other points, Madi's daughter could also be seen without swim-safety gear on; however, her son was indeed wearing an orange vest at another point in the video. The clip soon went viral on social media with netizens questioning the couple about why they did not take further precautions with their son near the water.

What made the video even more concerning for fans was that Teddy was seen without safety gear, even though he did not appear to be swimming. Further, netizens recalled that it was only a year ago when Emilie and Brady lost their older son Trigg after a drowning incident in May 2025. Now, Emilie took to her social media account on July 28, 2026 (ET) and reacted to the video. She penned:

"Our child should have been in his life jacket for the entirety of that boat ride, not even for the few moments that he was out of it. We are painfully aware that in a matter of seconds, your entire life can change, and we should have done better. We recognize and appreciate the genuine care that people have for our children. There has also been a deep level of anger and hurt directed toward our family, and we understand the basis of those feelings as well."

In the same post, Emilie Kiser also addressed her son Trigg's passing in 2025 and shared that she knows where the worry and even hate come from, and assured that she and her husband, Brady, will try to do better. She added:

"It comes from the belief that Trigg should still be here, and we share that same belief more than can be expressed. He was only three years old, and should have lived a lifetime more. That reality lives with us every moment of every single day. We will continue to do better, advocate for better, and, as hard as we try to avoid them, still make mistakes. We can only promise that we will never stop learning from them and continue loving our children with everything we have."

I will always take full accountability for that, because as a parent, it is your job to protect your child."
