Apart from superstar, Mohanlal, Drishyam 3 stars Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Murali Gopy, Siddique, Asha Sarath, Santhi Mayadevi, and Veena Nandakumar. The plot of Drishyam 3 brings back 'Georgekutty', the titular character played by Mohanlal, who tries to protect his family. The film will continue to take the audience back to 'Georgekutty’s life as he tries to deal with the long-term consequences of the crime his family committed in part 1.
In the previous versions, people got a glimpse of 'Georgekutty’s brilliance of mind as he not just covers up the crime but also goes to any extent to protect his family. In Drishyam 3, the police make a final attempt to expose 'Georgekutty' and bring justice to the family who lost their only son. But will 'Georgekutty' be able to protect his family this time also? Well, reports suggest that the final chapter in the franchise will be a conclusive ending to the mystery.
While the audience had been eagerly waiting for Drishyam 3, the film proved that it was worth the wait. From the intense plot to Mohanlal’s spectacular performance, the audience went crazy and heaped praises on X. One of the reviews claimed:
“The story takes a bit of a dramatic turn, but it really picks up at the break with something big happening. The twists might not quite ring true, but the story is still pretty captivating. The second half is super important for the film to really shine. I’m looking forward to seeing what else surprises us!”
Many claimed that the first half of the film looked slow, but the pace was picked up in the second half post the interval. The users also claimed that the film had stood by the expectation and wrote:
“#Drishyam3 - First Half - Typical Drishyam model first half with more intensity. The movie picked up as expected towards the interval point. All set for the main show in second half! #Mohanlal as usual terrific and #Meena seems to be Rani mode for last 13 years. Pitch perfect!”
Director, Jeethu Joseph became a household name after the release of Drishyam and Drishyam 2. The ace filmmaker spoke about the much-awaited release of Drishyam 3 and stated:
“I know the expectations surrounding the Drishyam franchise are huge. As I mentioned earlier, the third part follows a storytelling style that is completely different from the first two films. It is the story of two families who have lived for 13 years under the shadow of the same pain. Drishyam 3 is another chapter in the life of an ordinary man trying to overcome the questions and thoughts that continue to haunt him from that shadow.”
