It's exactly what a woman feels when her sister (younger or elder) gets married. Especially, the moment, when the groom puts sindoor and then your kiddo sis, is officially taken.

"Kal jis aangan mein Chani ki haldi aur mehendi rasam hui, waha ka aaj ka nazaara.. Jese .. Ghar aangan .. Poora Bhopal ... Ro rha he Bitiya ki bidaayee me.. "

*Sigh* If you have a sister who is married, you know what we mean here.
