For those unaware, in the 2010 animated film, Tangled, the roles were voiced by Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi, solidifying the classic Disney Princess into a modern icon. Additionally, it could be a significant opportunity for the actors, as Disney's live-action film has the potential to become a billion-dollar hit.

While the screenplay is written by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, a longtime Disney associated whereas Kristin will produce the film, and Lucy Kitada will be the executive producer.
The filming is expected to begin around mid-2026, primarily in the United Kingdom, where Disney plans to use the historic locations and natural landscapes to recreate the Kingdom of Corona. Although Disney has not confirmed an exact release date, industry projections point to the film might release around 2027.
Tangled, released in 2010, had grossed over USD 590 million worldwide and later spawned a successful Disney Channel Series. Although Disney's recent live-action remakes received mixed reactions, expectations are high for the adaptation to strike the right balance between nostalgia and modernity.
