In her latest vlog, Dipika Kakar opened up about this year, 2026 Eid celebration amid her health problems.
Dipika Kakar, the much-loved actress, is going through a tough phase due to her health problems. For the unversed, recently, the Sasural Simar Ka actress got another cyst of 13 mm, due to which she underwent surgery. Currently, Dipika is in her recovery phase and is maintaining a new routine. In her latest vlog, Dipika opened up about her Eid celebration with her family this year in 2026, amid her health crisis.
In her latest YouTube vlog, Dipika Kakar shared that this time in Eid, she couldn’t prepare the entire meal and could manage to make only the starters. She mentioned that her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, didn’t allow her to prepare the meal. Dipika highlighted that this year, in 2026, it is the first time they bought the food from outside due to her illness during Eid. Dipika added that she records vlogs and leaves them incomplete as she is not keeping well. She was quoted as saying:
"This time I could only prepare the starters and nothing else. Shoaib didn't let me prepare the meal, and it's the first time the food has come from outside, and it's due to the illness. I never thought there would be a day like this in my life. I am grateful for everything and glad to be living in the moment. However, I'm managing between some things. I record vlogs and leave them incomplete because I'm not keeping well."
Dipika shared a detailed update on her physical and mental health after 13 mm cyst removal surgery. In the vlog, the Bigg Boss 12 winner mentioned that there are days when the fatigue is so much that she cannot even move. In fact, there are days when she is not in the right zone mentally as well. She added that until and unless a person is happy mentally, they can’t fight. She was quoted as saying:
"I know it’s important to rest. The days when I get tired, the fatigue is so much that I cannot even move. The days when I am not in the right zone mentally, I just cannot do anything. On the days I am fine, I like to do things that make me happy. Unless you are happy mentally, you won’t be able to fight."
In a February 2026 vlog, Dipika’s husband, Shoaib, revealed that she had been experiencing mild pain in her stomach and thus visited the hospital. However, the pain got severe on the night of February 20, 2026. So, they visited the hospital and got a CT scan done. The scan report pointed out that Dipika had another cyst of 13 mm. Along with the stomach pain, she also experienced shoulder pain.
Doctors suggested for a surgery to remove the 13 mm cyst. The day before Dipika was admitted to the hospital, she had her 8th marriage anniversary. However, they couldn’t celebrate due to her health problems. Sharing her grief over the matter, Dipika said in her vlog that she and Shoaib had planned to go out. But couldn’t move out as the pain was quite severe. She was quoted as saying:
"Sunday was our anniversary. I had thought I would do something nice for Shoaib; we were planning to go out, but that’s not possible now, since the pain that aggravates is severe. I always say this, not just an illness like cancer, but any other illness, dealing with and living with it is very challenging."
