A few days ago, their wedding invite went viral on social media. Amid their wedding rumours, Rashmika’s co-star from Kirik Party, Pramod Shetty revealed a shocking update about her rumoured wedding.
Recently, Pramod Shetty spoke to the media, during which he opened up about Rashmika and Vijay’s rumoured wedding. The Kantara: Chapter 1 actor shared that he hasn’t received the invite for Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding. Reportedly, Rakshit Shetty has also not received the wedding invite. He also stated that he knew the actress would not invite her to the wedding. According to Pinkvilla, Pramod Shetty was quoted as saying:
"I haven't received Rashmika's wedding invitation yet. If I get it, I'll go. We know she won’t invite us, nothing new. As for Rakshit Shetty, he’s not a kid eating chocolate and sitting around feeling guilty about it."
Talking about Pramod Shetty and Rakshit Shetty, the two are well-known names in the film industry. For the unversed, Pramod Shetty is a popular actor and has appeared in films like Kantara, Bell Bottom, Avane Srimannarayana, Katha Sangama, Laughing Buddha, Bagheera and more.
On the other hand, Rakshit Shetty is a popular actor, writer and producer. Over the years, he has produced films like Ekam, Mithya, 777 Charlie and more. It is worth mentioning that Pramod and Rakshit are good friends. During a conversation with One India, Pramod opened up about Rakshit's filmmaking style and shared:
"Rakshit will rise like a phoenix. He gave a statement recently, didn’t he? He hasn’t gone anywhere. That’s how he writes his films. He takes some time, then comes back and calmly makes a movie. He isn’t in as much of a hurry as we are."
While Rashmika Mandanna has stayed tight-lipped about her relationship with Vijay Deverakonda, the actress has never shied away from talking about her expectations from a life partner. Earlier, in an interview with The Times Of India, Rashmika had explained that she needs security, empathy and comfort from her partner. She was quoted as saying:
"My partner. I need my partner in every phase of my life. I need that comfort, security, and empathy. My most important thing in a relationship is definitely kindness, but also respect. When you mutually respect one another, genuinely care, and are responsible for one another... it all adds up."
Vijay and Rashmika are all set for their marriage. Reportedly, the two will exchange vows on February 26, 2026, in an intimate ceremony held in Udaipur. For the unversed, the two met professionally and soon were rumoured to be dating. If a recent report by MoneyControl is to be believed, then the haldi ceremony will be on February 24, 2026, and the sangeet night will be on February 25, 2026. Reportedly, the couple has opted for a strict no-phone policy for all guests. It is also worth mentioning that Vijay and Rashmika, reportedly got engaged in October 2025, during an intimate ceremony held in Hyderabad.
