'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' has been grabbing the attention and has bagged the title of 'masterpiece'. Here's when the movie is going to be released on the OTT platform.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been grabbing the attention for all the right reasons. Aditya Dhar did a magic, and the fans are not yet able to get over the spell that he and his team brought. Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the sequel of the movie, Dhurandhar, was released on March 19, 2026, and the movie's plot was something that left the audience on the edge of their seats and screaming in joy, surprise, and whatnot. While the team asked everyone not to reveal any spoilers so that everyone can experience the movie in theatres, some have been waiting to learn when the movie will be released on small screens, i.e., on OTT platforms.
Earlier, it was revealed that the movie's streaming rights have gone to JioHotstar, which made a deal worth Rs. 150 crore. While the official date of the OTT release of Dhurandhar: The Revenge hasn't been given yet, it is being stated that the movie might arrive on small screens after 45 to 60 days of theatrical release, which means it can arrive around the second week of June 2026, or even later, depending on its theatrical success. The movie is currently all across the globe, and people have been enjoying Aditya Dhar's masterpiece for every minute.
The duration has been four hours long, but there was not even a single moment when there was not a surprise. The cast did what they had to do, from Ranveer Singh to Arjun Kapoor, and other cast members did exactly what was needed. From Rakesh Bedi and Sanjay Dutt to Danish Pandor and R Madhavan, the entire cast of the movie owned the title.
The movie begins with a heavy emotional revenge of a son and ends with that son losing everything in front of passion, leaving behind his history and rising like a tiger, to not only scare everyone with his roar but to rule. The movie has been receiving praise from the audience, and while some felt that the movie was a bit less than Part 1, more than half of the audience already tagged it as a masterpiece. Ranveer Singh, during a press meet, said that when he met Aditya Dhar for the movie, both of them were kind of in the same state, but through the last two years, they grew up together, with both of them becoming parents and launching a movie, which is not leaving its place soon, as it is seen.
Aditya Dhar deserves a bow down. His movie was filled with peak details, not just that, but also the lyrics, symbols, reflections, minute-to-minute detail cater to the plot and each of them is connected, bringing back-to-back surprises for the viewers, leaving people on the edge of their seats, screaming. Yami Gautam had a cameo in the movie. About the rest of the surprises, people will need to head towards their nearest halls, as when it was said that 'ladies and gentlemen, you are not ready for this', it was not even 10 per cent exaggeration.
