After announcing their separation in January 2022, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth are making adjustments for their kids, Yatra Raja, and Linga Raja.
One of the most sought-after couples of the South film industry, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth had shocked their fans when the duo had announced their separation. The adorable couple had tied the knot in 2004, and are parents to two kids, Yatra Raja, and Linga Raja. And after 18 years of marital bliss, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa had decided to separate their ways.
It was on the night of January 17, 2022, when Aishwaryaa and Dhanush had taken to their respective social media handles to announce their separation. Asking people to give them privacy to deal with it, the couple had penned:
"18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting... Today we stand at a place where our paths separate... Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do Respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this."

Now, as per the latest reports in ETimes, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa have ensured that one parent is available for the kids, Yatra Raja, and Linga Raja when another is busy. A few days back, when Aishwaryaa was down with viral fever and vertigo, the kids were with their father, Dhanush in Ooty, where he was shooting. The report further stated that Dhanush and Aishwaryaa are making adjustments so that the kids get a good amount of time with both their parents.
As soon as Dhanush and Aishwaryaa had announced their separation, various reasons had come out for the same in the media. In an interview with a Tamil newspaper, Dailythandi, Dhanush's father, a famous Tamil filmmaker, Kashthuri Raja had called their separation a mere ‘family quarrel’. He had also quashed the reports of their divorce. He had said:
“Dhanush and Aishwarya are having a family quarrel just like how a normal husband and wife do which does not mean the end. I spoke to both of them over the phone and gave them some advice.”

According to a report in India Today, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa’s wedding had hit a rough patch because of their hectic work schedule. It was also mentioned that Dhanush is a workaholic, and it had taken a toll on his family life. The portal had quoted its source as:
"Dhanush is a workaholic. Anyone who knows him can tell that he puts his work before anything else. There have been many instances when his work commitments - travelling between cities and outdoor film shoots - have taken a toll on his family life."
Another report in The Times Of India had stated that Dhanush and Aishwaryaa's friends had mentioned that the two have parted ways owing to their individual life choices. While Dhanush has been busy signing news projects and working hard on the professional front, his now ex-wife, Aishwaryaa had found peace in yoga, exercise and spirituality. The portal had mentioned that their individual life choices had made it hard for them to spend time together.
On the work front, Dhanush will be next seen in the much-awaited film, Maaran!
