Denise Richards looked unrecognisable as she shared a shocking before-and-after photo after a facelift transformation, which she was also afraid to undergo.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, Denise Richards, left everyone shocked as she shared her photos, featuring a transformation after facial surgery, a facelift. Denise is a famous American actress, model and TV personality, who is known for her roles in Starship Troopers, Wild Things, and the James Bond film, The World Is Not Enough.
Apart from that, she was seen in several reality series and films, and she is also a businesswoman who has her own skin care brand and a philanthropist, who has also been into modelling. Well, Denise recently left people talking with her new look, which was the result of a facelift, and something that she was scared of, but later realised that it was the best thing that she could have done.
Taking to her social media handle, in a collaborative post with her surgeon, Denise Richards shared a before-and-after photo of herself. The collage featured her before and after the facelift. The gorgeousness looked simply unrecognisable. The actress went under the knife nearly 8 months ago, and in a recent post, the doctor shared details about the same.
He described the actress as one of the most beautiful people while revealing that the surgery included temporal brow lift, upper blepharoplasty, lip lift for the outer corners of her mouth and fat grafting. In the lengthy post, the surgeon detailed what looked different and better in Denise's changed looks, and how that could be achieved. On the other hand, Denise herself shared a photo of herself on her IG story, stating it was the best thing she could do for herself. An excerpt from the surgeon's post could be read as:
"It was an incredible pleasure and honor to be trusted with her restoration and more importantly, the preservation of her character and beauty. It’s hard to describe in a paragraph the type of surgery or procedures I do because they are so unique in many ways and there isn’t really a standard to compare it to."
In a recent interview with Allure, Denise Richards revealed that she had the surgery around eight months ago, and it was after she first did breast implants at the age of 19. Denise revealed that she wanted to put things where they were, and although she had done plastic surgery before, the thought of having to do it on her face was simply 'terrifying'. She also shared that being in the public eye wouldn't let her hide the fact that she did something to her face, and thus, it was never a matter to hide.
She also mentioned that she trusted her doctors, and it was actually shocking. Denise also revealed that her ex, Aaron Phypers, somewhat disclosed that she had a facelift and had a photographer show up at an appointment where she was to have microneedling done to her scars. Aaron, as per Denise, called it botched, which felt ridiculous to her. Denise said that she thought back and forth about telling him, but it was he who brought the cat out of the bag somehow. Sharing more about her ex's reaction, Denise said:
"Going through my divorce, my ex disclosed that I’d had a facelift. He had a photographer show up outside an appointment where I had some microneedling on my scars. So [my ex] told someone that I had a facelift, and said it was botched, which is really ridiculous. You know, I went back and forth about whether I was going to say anything about my facelift—um, he kind of let the cat out of the bag. I think I could have gotten away with, ‘Oh, she looks so much better after her divorce.’ I think I probably would've been able to get away with it—or not, I don't know."
Denise also mentioned that her oldest daughters were not happy about the same, but now they feel that their mum looks better as her face didn't change much. One of Denise's daughters wanted to have a nose job done, which she didn't allow, and thus, when the actress told her daughter that she would get a facelift, she brought up her denial over her wish to get a nose job. Denise replied that her daughter was only 20 and nose job could change how she looks, so she said no.
