November 14-15, 2018 saw the culmination of a beautiful relationship into the sacred thread of marriage. B-town’s most talked celebrity couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh became each other’s when they entered into marital bliss. The couple had first got married in Konkani style and later in a Punjabi-Sindhi style wedding. Ever since their marriage, the couple has been putting romantic pictures on their Instagram handles and have been giving couple goals with their PDAs.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are made for each other and there is no denial to it. The couple had tied the knot an year ago and are riding high in their personal as well as professional lives. The much-in-love couple is often seen spending time with each other and enjoying each other’s company. Both Deepika and Ranveer are time and again questioned about their plans to start a family. From their fans to media, everyone just wants to know when they will talk about little DeepVeers but it seems like Deepika and Ranveer are not yet ready to embrace parenthood.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Deepika revealed that she and Ranveer are not planning for kids now. Revealing that although both love kids but they are not thinking of kids at this point of their career. She stated, “It’s sad that society puts people in this rut that if you’re dating for so long toh shaadi kab hogi and then bacche. We’re not surprised by the rumours. Of course we want children, we both love kids. But we’re too selfishly focused on our careers at this point. It wouldn’t be fair to have kids at this point. We’re not even thinking about kids."
Talking about her husband, Ranveer in a Times of India interview, Deepika had shared that he is a completely different person at home. She had revealed that there is a vulnerable side of him too. In Deepika’s own words, “I don’t know what happens when he leaves the house as he’s an extremely different person then which I think also people will start seeing. On the other hand, Ranveer had once shared about his experience as a married man and had said, “I’m loving it and highly recommend it. I have been married to Deepika in my head for years now. Just a few months into our relationship, I knew she was the one for me and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. I had committed my life to her well before the rituals. I was waiting for her to be ready for it.”
In a GQ interview, Deepika had poured her heart out when she had talked about Ranveer. Talking about spending the rest of her life with him, she had shared, “I think you just know when you want to spend the rest of your life with that one person – and he’s everything rolled into one man. He’s my best friend, playmate, companion and confidant. I can be silly in front of him, I can be stupid in front of him, I can be sick in front of him, I can be whatever I want to be.”
Apart from her upcoming movies, 83 and Chhapaak, Deepika is also working on raising awareness about mental health and the stigma associated with it. Revealing about the same, she said, "I won’t die until I accomplish that. It’s my mission in life.
