David Wilcock, a name that is remembered by many as he was part of 'Ancient Aliens', but seems like his last days were hard, as he died after self-inflicting harm.
David Wilcock was a famous NYT best-selling author, and UFO expert. He had been part of the History Channel's famous series, Ancient Aliens, where he shared his expertise in over 100 episodes of the series. He was also part of the hit documentary film, Above Majestic.
David had been a practitioner of science and a follower of spirituality with an interest in angelic beings. Despite achieving so many accolades in his life, David met with an unfortunate end as he died due to self-inflicted harm. Amidst his death, people want to know more about him, and whether he died due to his own worries or there is something else.
David Welcock was most famously known for his appearances on the History Channel's show, Ancient Aliens. As per a media release from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, the 53-year-old took his own life outside his home. Talking about the late UFO expert's net worth, it is not publicly available. But as per the Hindustan Times, David's net worth is between USD 1 million and USD 5 million, with his income coming from his books and TV appearances.
It seems like David Wilcock was worried, and his fans stumbled upon his last YouTube stream, wherein he talked about the recent scientist's disappearance. He pointed out how scientists are going missing, and he was just grateful to be alive. His last stream has left many wondering what was the fear David had. He added that the president himself said they are going to investigate the matter, and it was scary. He said:
"Now, they're saying that they’re gonna investigate this. The president himself is saying they’re gonna look into this and see if anything is going on. It’s a little bit scary. I gotta say it’s a little bit scary, but you guys knew that I might still show up even though it was last minute and I’ve had a really rough week. Like, you know, that’s kinda like every week, but somehow we keep on making it through all of this."
It is worth mentioning that weeks prior to David's death, fellow Ancient Alien alum, Nick Pope, died after revealing his stage IV oesophageal cancer in February 2026. In January 2026, Erich Von Daniken, a conspiracy theorist from Switzerland, also died, and it seemed like David was talking about these deaths. He said:
"I'm excited to be here, you know, every day that I have on earth is a gift and a blessing, and I'm very grateful for that because frankly, people are disappearing. Scientists are going missing."
As per a media statement from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, David Wilcock died by taking his own life outside his residence in Nederland, Colorado. They didn't directly name him, but later, Anna Paulina Luna, who represented David, tweeted about the author's death on X. Luna revealed that they had just learned about the tragic passing of David Willock. She prayed for his family and loved ones and the millions of lives he impacted.
Talking about David's personal life, he was married to Elizabeth Wilcock. The couple were together for years of matrimony and ended up in divorce on November 30, 2021. The episode was titled, David Wilcock's Divorce and Failed Marriage, the hosts expressed their astonishment at how David was unable to keep up the marriage.
The radio podcaster bashed David Wilcock and claimed that he failed all his endeavours, including his marriage. They even seemed to laugh at his assertions that he was the reincarnation of the renowned American psychic, Edgar Cayce. Talking about the cause of David's divorce, the podcast's hosts claimed that it was impossible for someone to love a person like David. He stated that David had behavioural problems and that he wouldn't stop yelling about audio quality and camera changes. It might be the reason his wife would have gotten irritated with him. The host was quoted as saying:
"It was impossible for someone to love you [David Wilcock]. You fail at everything you touch. It's like the Midas touch, except King Midas's wife didn't leave him because he wouldn't stop yelling about audio quality and camera changes. I've heard Davids divorce will be broadcast in cinematic quality for only USD 333. PS congrats to Beth for escaping, we're on your team now. It's that simple. Anyone who leaves David's side has our support."
