Crissy Froyd recently spoke to Page Six on April 17, 2026 (ET), recalling that someone had once mentioned the fact that she slept with a man named JT Daniels, following which Crissy replied that JT was her former partner. Notably, Daniels was working at the University of West Georgia as part of the coaching staff. Crissy further stated:
“I don’t like having to respond to some of that stuff, but I finally was just like, if any of you have a claim with evidence that I have done exactly what she’s done, I would love to see it.”
Crissy Froyd stated that the relationship between a reporter and a player should not be considered as something that can help the duo professionally. Crissy additionally responded to her removal from USA Today, saying that she wishes to be associated with sports journalism, and she knows a lot of people in this field who can help her find another suitable position for herself.
During her latest conversation with Page Six, Crissy Froyd said that she and JT Daniels kept their romance private. The pair started dating in December 2023, and the relationship ended around two years later in September 2025. Crissy Froyd revealed other details related to her romance with JT Daniels while speaking to Page Six and said:
“He and I met through football, but there was never even a text message conversation at all about football outside of an interview request one time because his name was on a contact sheet. For one, JT was in college football. If you want to be hypocritical, I would press you to go find an article and find a date and documentation that I slept with that person for a transactional thing; that I slept with that person to gain information.”
Crissy later disclosed in a post shared through X that her romance with JT Daniels did not begin until the latter retired from football. While Crissy’s X post addressing Dianna Russini’s resignation is trending everywhere, Dianna has not shared any response to the same until now.
