Police revealed that 'The Young and The Restless' star, Colleen Zenk, had failed multiple sobriety tests before she was arrested on DUI charges.

For those unaware, she was arrested last month, in May 2026, in Naples, Florida, and charged with DUI. However, this was not her first run-in with the law. The police have now revealed fresh details about what happened to Colleen before her arrest.
According to the police in Florida, Colleen Zenk had failed a number of sobriety tests before her DUI arrest. Not only this, but they also claimed that the actress tried to flee the scene after she drunkenly crashed into a parked car in front of a Tommy Bahama store in Naples. A witness had initially told the authorities that Colleen tried to leave the scene but was soon stopped just a few feet down the road.
The witness further said that when Colleen tried to exit her vehicle, she was visibly stumbling. Now the cops have revealed that The Young and the Restless star had actually confessed to drinking two cups of wine at Bar Tulia. She also willingly performed several sobriety tests but ended up failing all of them. When Colleen was asked to walk over to the sidewalk, she had a hard time balancing herself. After this, she also moved her head while trying to follow a pen, rather than just her eyes.
Talking about the sobriety exercise, the police officer said that Colleen’s eyes made “rapid, repetitive and uncontrollable side-to-side movements” when they held a pen up to her face at a 45-degree angle. As per the police report, she also failed the one-leg stand exercise, swaying to the point that they thought she would fall on the ground.
Once the field sobriety exercises were conducted, upon the formal statement from the witness as well as an officer on the scene, Colleen was placed under arrest. She was charged with DUI resulting in damage to property or person of another, and DUI with a blood alcohol level of 0.15 or higher. In the two breath samples that the police took from her, the first one notably yielded a BAC of 0.206 and the second one a BAC of 0.192.
Colleen was bonded out just a day after her arrest. While her court date was set for June 10, 2026, the actress chose not to appear at the hearing in person after filing a Waiver of Appearance at Non-Mandatory Court Appearances. Reports suggest that Colleen pleaded not guilty through her attorney, and her next trial date has been set for July 29, 2026.
It is worth noting that Colleen Zenk’s recent arrest is her third DUI arrest since April 1, 2010. The first time, the actress was pulled over by police in Wilton, Connecticut, for erratic driving and crossing into the oncoming lane of traffic. This resulted in charges of DUI and improper lane usage. The second time was on May 28, 2017, when Colleen was charged with another DUI, although it was her first offence and arrest in Collier County.

She needs to get it together.” Another wrote, “I hope she can get the help she so desperately needs. Alcoholism is no joke. It would be good not only for her but her family as well. Man, I’m sorry to hear of her struggles. I've always loved her.”
