The cause of his death has not been released; however, the autopsy has been completed. The reason hasn't been disclosed and has been listed as “deferred” at this time.

The family confirmed the news to TMZ and asked for privacy during this tough time. Amid this, another report suggested that Presley was not sober when he entered the rehab facility, where he died later on September 21, 2026. In a December 2025 post, Presley talked about his struggles with mental health issues. He also revealed in the now-deleted post that he was sober for five months from alcohol, having taken his last drink in July 2025.
In the post, Presley shared that he had seen at least 15 psychiatrists, who prescribed him medication but not a structured path to recovery. In 2018, he was arrested on DUI charges. He was speeding in Beverly Hills, California, and was sentenced to three years of probation, community service, and a DUI program. No further details surrounding the untimely death of Presley have been shared by his family as of now.
Sources revealed that Cindy and her family members are saddened beyond words. Cindy and Rande were actively involved in Presley's life, and they were not like absent Hollywood parents, as shared by the source. The proud parents publicly supported their son a few months back when he appeared at an event for mental health awareness. While speaking at the event, Presley talked about the importance of vulnerability and added that the most freeing thing he could do for himself was to be honest with himself.
A source revealed to PEOPLE that Cindy and Rande were proud of the fact that their son was finding strength by helping others, while his sister, Kaia was in love with the fact that her brother was so open with his problems.
Presley had been candid about his struggles. He began his career in his teens as a model, as he was signed by IMG Models, and then made his runway debut at a Moschino show in 2016. After that, Presley collaborated with major brands including Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, and more. However, in later years, he stepped back from the glamor world.
Speaking about the same, in a December 2025 post, Presley revealed that he grew up in Hollywood, and there were some people whom he would love to death; however, he chose not to be around them, as he was focused on taking care of himself. Apart from modeling, Presley was also a vocal advocate for mental health awareness and addiction recovery.
