Chunky Panday recalled the time when Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri used to go to the former's place quite often while living in a rented place.
Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. The actor has been winning hearts since the beginning of his career. Moreover, it was in the year 2023 when SRK showcased his talents with the three blockbuster movies, Jawan, Pathaan, and Dunki. In the coming years, the actor has so many big-budget movies in his kitty. However, the journey of the actor in Bollywood was not a bed of roses, and he had his fair share of struggles. The Bollywood biggie who is the owner of a Rs. 200 crore abode, Mannat, once lived in a rented house with his wife. Recently, Chunky Panday walked down memory lane and recalled the time when SRK and Gauri used to live in a rented house.
Recently, Chunky Panday appeared on the Timeout With Ankit podcast, wherein he talked about his brother, Chikki Panday. The actor also revealed Chikki's special bond with Shah Rukh Khan. Chunky stated that when SRK first came to Mumbai, Chikki Panday was one of his friends, and the duo continues to be the best of friends. Chunky Panday stated:
"I think one of his first friends in Bombay when he arrived was my younger brother Chikki. They're still the best of friends."

Going further in the interview, Chunky Panday shared that during the time, Shah Rukh and Gauri were renting the house in Mumbai, they used to go to the former's house to meet Chikki. The actor further stated that all of them used to sit and watch video cassettes together. In Chunky's words:
"So, at that time, they were renting a place and they used to come to meet my brother, sab baith ke video cassettes dekhte the. So he and Gauri were in my house quite often."
In the same interview, Chunky Panday heaped praises on Shah Rukh Khan and mentioned that he was sure that the Jawan actor would make it, as the latter always had a fire in him. Chunky added that the talent had always been there even before SRK became a superstar, and the latter was confident enough to know where he was going. Chunky stated that he is lucky that he has known the Pathaan actor since the time he kickstarted his career. Mentioning that SRK had not changed at all since then, Chunky mentioned:
"With Shah Rukh, I was so sure this boy is gonna become a superstar. Because he had that in him, you can see that fire…He's always had that. That talent has always been there with him before he became the superstar. So he's very confident and he knew where he was going. I mean, yeah, of course very proud that I've known him since then. He hasn't changed.”
Before Shah Rukh Khan made a comeback to the silver screens and made everyone go gaga with his three films, he took a four-year-long break after his movie, Zero. However, in an interview with News18, the actor mentioned that it was never a break for him as he wanted to spend time with himself, which is much needed for the actor.

Sharing how he spent the time, SRK revealed that he watched a lot of films and it helped him to understand what attracts the audience and what does not. He also remarked that he first thought of taking a short time out, which was further stretched by the lockdown.
