"It really was a tough decision for both of us, and very hard to decide. But, you know, when you love someone, sometimes loving someone means letting go. So I think we just got to that decision."
Chelley emphasised how the breakup was not a result of any third person, media pressure, or fan expectations. But things just did not work out between them, and they made a mutual agreement for the best. Additionally, she mentioned the constant support of fans and loyal supporters, which has been with them throughout their journey with the show and after it. Yet, she expressed her belief that fans will understand that the decision was made with care and respect. Ace Greene has not publicly commented on the breakup at the time of writing.
