The exact date or details about Fiona's death have not been revealed to the public, but the family's mention of a suicide helpline indicates that the teen died under similar circumstances. In their public statement, the family shared:
"We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona... She was adored by her sisters, and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives."
The family also asked for privacy as they grieve the devastating loss and included a message encouraging anyone experiencing a mental health crisis to seek help. The statement reads:
"Her passing is devastating for our entire family, and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988."
The family's reference to the suicide prevention lifeline comes as they mourn Fiona, who had recently entered her teenage years. She was the second of Chad and Kim's three daughters, born in November 2012. The couple also shares a 17-year-old daughter, Mabel, and 10-year-old Nixie.
A Page Six report revealed that parents at Fiona's school received an email from the principal on Tuesday morning about a student's death, though the name was not revealed. In the email, the school wrote:
