Carla Jaran Jeffery was better known as Carla Jeffery. She worked on both film and TV projects during her career and before she became one of the popular faces of the Disney generation. After her birth in 1993 in Houston, Texas, she spent most of her childhood in Ohio. Later, Carla decided to move to Los Angeles with her family to look for work opportunities in the entertainment industry.
Carla began her career at a young age, and one of her earliest projects was the 2006 comedy film, Phat Girlz. She was seen in young, ‘Mo'Nique's character in the movie. Since then, she had continued to make guest appearances on popular TV shows. Some of them include iCarly, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Scream Queens.
However, she rose to fame through her work on Disney projects. In fact, Carla was seen in the popular Disney Channel series, Good Luck Charlie and Shake It Up! before she got her first major role. After reaching wider audiences through brief stints in popular shows, Carla rose to fame in 2018 when she played ‘Bree’ in Disney's musical fantasy film, Zombies. Her character of a spirited cheerleader and ‘Addison's’ friend made her a household name. Alongside this, the movie's massive success paved the way for a franchise with a loyal global fan following.
