Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleBryan Johnson has made a name for himself not just as a tech entrepreneur, but also as a longevity enthusiast. Reports reveal that he usually spends well over USD 2 million on his anti-ageing treatments. However, at present, Bryan seems to be having a hard time with his health, as he revealed that he has been diagnosed with autoimmune gastritis (AIG). As he continues to be in the spotlight because of his revelation, accusations from his ex-fiancee, Taryn Southern, that he is a serial cheater have surfaced.
In 2021, television actress, Taryn Southern filed a suit against her ex-fiance, Bryan Johnson. In the suit, she alleged that Bryan was a serial cheater and that he had dumped her while she was undergoing breast cancer treatments.
According to her, Bryan had been madly in love with her when they first started dating, calling her ‘Mrs. Johnson’s a week after they first met in 2016. When they moved in together in March 2018, Bryan promised Taryn to take care of her both medically and financially for the rest of her life. But things took a turn when the TV host was diagnosed with Stage III breast cancer as Bryan left her.
Taryn revealed that it caused her a lot of emotional distress and alleged in the suit that Bryan had flings with “more than a dozen women” during their relationship. According to the court filing, he had paid prostitutes and pursued women through “Sugar Daddy” apps.
On his X (formerly Twitter), Bryan claimed at the time that all the allegations made by his ex against him were false. He believed that she was saying those things because she was after his money. He wrote:
“For five years, my ex has been trying to extract money from me and one of her principal tools has been a series of false allegations. All her attempts have failed.”
According to Bryan, Taryn was ordered to pay him USD 500,000 after it was determined that she and her lawyers had made “serious allegations [that were] factually and legally baseless and frivolous.”
Recently, Bryan Johnson shared some concerning news that he has been diagnosed with autoimmune gastritis (AIG). For those unaware, it is a rare autoimmune disease where the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks the stomach’s lining. Bryan referred to this as his "stomach eating itself.”
The anti-ageing millionaire, as of now, there is no cure for the condition. Despite this, he has not given up hope and is determined to try to solve it using medical monitoring and experimental therapies.
According to Bryan, 48, his health struggles had actually started when he was only 21 years old, when he was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. He kept his condition under control with hormone replacement therapy but did not realise that at the same time, another autoimmune disease was developing within him.
Bryan added that his autoimmune gastritis diagnosis was confirmed in May 2026 after he struggled with low ferritin levels for many years. Even after dietary changes, it showed no signs of improvement. An excerpt from his note can be read as:
“I have an autoimmune disease. My stomach is eating itself. Bad news #2: 2–5% of people have this, too. Likely more, because it hides. Good news: I'm going to try to solve it. Will share all… I had a few healthy years in my early 20s but then became a young father of three and began building a business. Juggling that stress and grind, I let my health slip and gained 40 lbs…Somewhere in that timeline, my body began developing an autoimmune process affecting my thyroid and then my stomach lining. It’s called Autoimmune Gastritis (AIG).”
