Following that, Brooke's mother and Hulk's ex-wife, Linda Hogan refuted the affair story details. Brooke didn't have it, and slammed Linda for her alleged false claims. According to Brooke, her mom needs "help" if she still plans to defend her late dad, Hulk.

Brooke was upset about the double betrayal by the two closest and most trusted people in her life. In an interview with Us Weekly, published on September 24, 2026, the 38-year-old musician called the incident a "major turning point" in her relationship with her father.
Brooke added that while she forgave her father, they could never be the same way again. Her mother, Linda took to the comments of the post about the interview and refuted her daughter's statements about Hulk's affair. She wrote, "I was there and no he didn't." Brooke was not going to let it go, and a day later, on September 25, 2026, she exclusively told Us Weekly that her mom needed "help" for trying to defend a man who cheated on her.
Linda's daughter said that while she loves her mom, that doesn't give her a free pass to "keep bullying" her. Brooke hopes her mother heals from whatever she's going through and finally comes to terms with what Hulk did to her. Brooke slammed Linda, saying she was trying to rewrite history by denying Hulk's affair and, in doing so, was provoking her by painting her as a liar.
Linda's daughter added that her mother wanted her to "stay silent" after the public humiliation, which she wouldn't. Brooke Hogan made her stance clear and told the news outlet:
"I genuinely hope she finds whatever help and healing she needs. She's my mom, and I love her. But loving someone doesn't mean allowing them to keep bullying you, publicly rewriting history or provoking you and expecting you to stay silent."
Brooke even shared an excerpt from Linda's book where the latter herself said that she suspected Hulk of having an affair for a long time and "felt good" to know that she made the right decision to leave him. It contradicts Linda's recent comment that "he didn't" sleep with Christiane Plante.

However, it should be noted that the ex-spouses were just estranged at the time- divorce papers hadn't been filed yet, so they were still legally married.
