Brandi Glanville previously admitted that she decided to go on the show Special Forces as her medical bills continued to grow. However, Brandi became the first person to be sent home after she suffered severe injuries.
Brandi Glanville recently participated in Special Forces: World's Toughest Test Season 5. During the premiere episode that aired on September 24, 2026, the reality TV star had to be “medically withdrawn” from the competition after she completed the first exercise. For the unversed, the exercise in question saw Brandi and the other recruits jump backward out of a helicopter into a jungle river.
During Brandi’s turn, she recalled during a conversation with PEOPLE that her head hit the water really hard. And when her entire body slammed into the water, Brandi felt horrible pain. Calling the experience a nightmare, she said:
“Immediately, I was like, ‘Oh shit. I just hit my head so hard. Then, all of a sudden, my body slammed into the water. When that happened, it was immediate pain. Horrible pain. I could only move one of my arms out of my whole body, and I was trying to swim, and it was a nightmare.”
Brandi Glanville claimed that she hit the water so hard during the exercise that it even led her breast implant to get lodged “under my left armpit.” According to her, it was only three months since she had her breast implant, but the doctors had already cleared her when she told them what kind of tasks she would be performing in the Special Forces.
In fact, at the time her implant was dislodged, Brandi thought that the makers shouldn't let girls with implants do the show. But she soon realized that if that happened, no one would be willing to go on the show. In her words:
“They were only three months old, but the doctors cleared me…He was like, ‘No, you’re good.’ But I don’t think anyone expected me to slam into the water like that. I was like, ‘They should probably not let girls do the show that have implants.’ But then I thought, ‘Well, then no one’s going to do the show. We’d be screwed.’”
In addition to her breast implant being dislodged, the crash left Brandi with a perforated eardrum, a concussion, and a bruised sternum. She admitted that she was happy to leave the show at that point because her head was literally spinning. However, since Brandi wasn't medically cleared to fly yet, they had to take three boats from the jungle where they were filming in Malaysia to get to the nearest doctor in Kuala Lumpur.
When Brandi Glanville got home, she said that she spent a few days in bed thanks to her concussion and spinning head. She could not even use her phone as she had a “constant headache.” But despite her severe injuries and going through so much pain, she confessed that her experience in the Special Forces was “worth it in the end.”
Brandi, who shares sons, Mason and Jake, with her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, revealed the reason behind why her experience was worth it. She explained:
“I conquered my two biggest fears, and I feel like I’m kind of a badass in my kids’ eyes, so I did it.”
