At the age of 62, reports are rife that Brad Pitt got secretly married to Ines De Ramon. However, there was a time when Brad was shattered to the point that he briefly went through a suicidal phase.
Brad Pitt once talked about the most difficult phase of his life. He shared that he had a period of suicidal ideation. In an August interview, Brad revealed that he was never suicidal in anyway, and he always prefered being positive. And his ideology of staying optimistic helped him get through grief as his forever-funny friend, David Fincher would tell him that he always sees the glass as half full.
But there was a brief period in Brad's life where dark thoughts creeped in. He tried to chose his words carefully and stated that there was a time when he couldn't find a way out. The pain had consumed him, and while he wouldn't have acted on it, but he felt a relief at the thought of ending his life. He said:
"In that one little period, I just thought—I just couldn’t—just didn’t see a way out. The pain was so oppressive that—I wasn’t going to act on this, but I could feel—I could feel the cold steel of the bullet in my head, and it felt like relief."
Brad lost his mother in August 2025, and at that time he got the bigger perspective. And he thought that suicide was a way of relief. However, his suvival insticts creeped in, and he let the thought go but it wasn't easy for him to get out of the state. Without sharing what led to his mental health struggles, Brad just admitted that it was due to the family stuff.
It is worth adding that Brad shared his thoughts on mental health at a time when his kids are trying to get rid of his last name. In July 2026, his daughter, Vivienne filed to drop his name legally. Earlier, Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh filed the peititon to officially drop the name earlier this year.
As per RadarOnline, Brad Pitt secretly got married to his girlfriend Ines de Ramon whom he has been dating for four years. The couple have not talked about their thoughts on marriage in public. But in an interview with Esquire, Brad Pitt gave a hint at his marriage. When the writer interviewed him at his L.A. home, Brad made a cheeky remark and stated that he has been getting royal treatment, and he modestly replied:
"Just another day at the Pitts."
The insider revealed that Brad Pitt is basically calling Ines, 'Mrs Pitt'. He could have said that it was just another day at 'Brad's house' as he purchased the property in August 2025. And his 33-year-old girflriend moved into his home in October 2025. So, the insider revealed that it was weird to say 'The Pitts' as she is just his girlfriend.
