Thanks to social media, we all know that Kedarnath actress, Sara Ali Khan, at one point of time was a shy and overweight girl who was suffering from PCOD (Polycystic Ovary Disorder). But the Pataudi girl did not let herself down. The commitment to her own wellbeing and health helped her transform. There was a low point in her life when her mother could not make out at the airport that it was her daughter. The disappointment became the turning point and the healthy chapter in her life began. There was no looking back thereafter and she succeeded in her journey of becoming 46kgs from 96 kgs.

Diet- Gorging on junk food during college days added to Sara’s weight and flab. It was a huge shift in her diet post the realization. To start feeling comfortable in her own skin, she kicked it off with a healthy and nutritional diet. Idlis, egg whites, fruits, chapattis and salads got her kilos melting. Upma and other light and non-oily food became part of her life and monitored her progress.

Workout-  It was the small changes that yielded big results for Sara. Under the guidance of Namrata Purohit, her exercise regimen never took a backseat. She did Pilates for a well-toned body. Right posture and self-confidence were the keys to success as well. She also did boot camp training under the thorough guidance of Cindy Jourdain. She hardly missed her gym sessions and became a fitness freak. Apart from hard-core exercises she also hooked onto sports like tennis which left her with a flat and toned body. Sara always kept it slow and gradual.
