Bollywood's Bajirao Mastani Ranveer Singh And Deepika Padukone Getting Engaged In 2016

Yes, the fairytale romance of Bollywood's rumoured couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone is finally going to be given an official status. The ‘it’ couple of the moment, who are riding high on the success of their recently released movie, Bajirao Mastani, have been ‘neither admitting nor denying’ their relationship status for quite a while now. If sources are to be believed, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone might just be getting engaged in 2016.

Why have not Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh not acknowledged their relation in media?

Well, the answer to that question has finally come to light. A source close to the couple has been quoted by a tabloid saying, it was due to Deepika’s parents, who were earlier not that keen on the match. However, they have finally warmed up to Ranveer.

"It was due for a while. But Ranveer and Deepika had family issues. They absolutely love their parents and wouldn't move ahead without their consent. While Ranveer's parents were most happy with their son's choice, it took Deepika's parents some time to come around."

And, Ranveer too through his actions time and again (proposing to Deepika at IIFA awards 2015, and during Bajirao Mastani promotions) has proved more or less how much he is in love with the Om Shanti Om actress.

The two families are meeting soon, perhaps to decide upon the rumoured engagement of the couple who have been waiting for their approval. Interestingly, couple of days back, it was being said that Deepika Padukone is the reason behind her ex-boyfriend, actor, Ranbir Kapoor and his girlfriend Katrina Kaif’s rumoured break-up.
