Ray J is a famous singer and songwriter who built a name for himself in the world of music. In 1997, he began his career, and throughout all the years, Ray J established himself in the music world, and also became a famous television personality. Ray J grabbed the attention a few weeks back when he revealed his health condition, while shockingly sharing that '2027' could seeimgly be a 'wrap' for him. Amid this, several videos of him from his recent show went viral, wherein his current condition grabbed the attention, leaving his fans worried.
Ray J recently appeared at an Intimate Valentine’s Day Concert in Shreveport, Louisiana, on Saturday, i.e. on February 14, 2026. In several clips that went viral, Ray J was seen wearing glasses. Well, what was concerning for his fans was that blood was coming out of Ray J's eyes. It could not be confirmed whether it was for a stage-act purpose or not.
After the clips went viral, several netizens also discussed the singer seemingly unzipping his coat, which made a patch on the left side of his chest visible, leaving people worried. It could not be confirmed whether all of these were a part of the performance or not, but such a clip instantly left people worried about the singer, especially because it was two weeks ago, when the singer revealed that 2027 could be a wrap for him.
It was in early January 2026 that Ray J was hospitalised due to pneumonia and heart pain. On January 30, 2025, Ray J took to his social media and shared a video, wherein he stated that he was not dealing well with his health, and his heart was working at only 25 per cent. He also shared that if he is on the right path, he will be alright. However, his fans were left hurt when he said that doctors have told him that he won't live long. He, in the video, mentioned that 2027 could be his 'wrap' while adding that his heart has turned 'black' due to abusing alcohol and drugs, admitting to feeling 'invincible.'
In the video, Ray J also revealed that his family would be financially stable even if anything happens to him, while adding that he shouldn't have gone so hard on himself with his lifestyle choices, which led him to face such health difficulties. It was in 2021 when Ray J was suffering from pneumonia and was hospitalised for the same. Back then, it was confirmed that the singer didn't have COVID-19, although he was admitted to the facility's COVID unit. The singer could be quoted as saying:
"My baby mama gon’ be straight, my kids gon’ be straight. If they wanna spend all the money, they can spend it, but I did my part here. I shouldn’t have went this hard, bro. I shouldn’t have went that hard. And then, when it’s all done, burn me. Don’t bury me.”
