However, the rumor was soon quashed when an insider revealed Bill Belichick's alleged stance on his remarriage plans. A few months after reports of Jordon's alleged wedding plans with Bill, multiple sources close to him said that he held a different opinion. According to the insiders, the University of North Carolina football coach has no plan to marry his ladylove.
"Bill Belichick is not going to get married; he is smarter than that," one source said, adding that his relationship to Jordon Hudson, 25, is "not a big deal." Another source echoed similar sentiments, claiming that Bill and Jordon's relationship is "just something fun." They further stated that it is "highly unlikely" that Bill Belichick has proposed to her and that they were engaged.
A third source close to the former NFL coach told Us Weekly that "Hudson could be telling people they are engaged, even if it's not true." They claimed there was a possibility that Bill and Jordon were not engaged and that she was making things up. It is worth noting that neither Bill nor Jordon has confirmed the insider claims regarding their engagement and marriage.
Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson reportedly met for the first time in February 2021 when they were seated next to each other on a flight. While they were flying from the Boston area to Florida, Bill signed one of Jordon's textbooks and reportedly also wrote, "Thanks for giving me a course in logic!" Although Bill and Jordon's first meeting dates back to 2021, the couple weren't linked until January 2023.
